"I've used this carpet cleaning company several times and have found them to be pretty consistently unreliable. The last time was the straw that broke the camel's back and I have informed them that I won't use them again and I decided to give bad reviews so that others can avoid as well.... Joy of cleaning was supposed to do a home for me at 4 p.m. yesterday it is a home that I'm having an open house at.yesterday was a Saturday and I was at a festival with my family I received a message at 1 p.m. stating that they could not wait until 4 they can't just sit around and wait and they had a lot of cancellations so they would need to do it earlier or they couldn't do it at all. I said well can we just please do for that was our scheduled time and they said no we really need to do it earlier we had a lot of cancellations today and can't keep sitting around waiting to do yours and I'm quoting them almost verbatim. Because I needed it done for the open house and it was urgent I rushed back from a festival with my family dropped everything I was doing arrived at my home close to 2:00 and was told sorry our help is gone home even though I am quite aware that all of the employees are family members and lives together and that they can't do the carpets today. They said they would be able to accommodate me at 9 a.m. the next day since I had the open house and that was the best they could do I said that would be fine because I really needed it to happen it was urgent for this open house. And we had been scheduled a while ago so I assumed they were the people doing it this weekend. overnight I seem to have not felt well and came down with the bug as well as have some sleep apnea / health problems so I'm texted at around 3 a.m. and asked if it could be done later in the day for their original request and if not I was happy to still meet them at 8 a.m. but let me know I texted again at 6 and 7 just saying are we still meeting at the original 8 a.m. time or should we reschedule to 11 or 12 per your original request to make it more convenient for both of us. I was told they were canceling because they didn't want to be around me if I was sick and they couldn't afford to get sick and I am again quoting them I told them that I didn't even need to be there I could have another person meet them and they said no they're going to choose to cancel. I was lost without my carpets being down for an open house they were completely dirty in this particular home. This is not the first time this has happened with this company although it's never been for an open house and I have usually had more time and been able to accommodate their constantly adjusting route schedules. And eventually they would show up and carpets would get done. I've been frustrated in the past and ended up using a different company that I found online last time and I wish I could have found their name again I didn't save it :-( but those individuals were the same low price showed up on time stuck to their schedule and we're incredibly professionals work with I have not found that to be the case with joy of cleaning all those are very nice people like them and was working with them at this point I am extremely frustrated and angry if it would happen this weekend and will not be easy them again and I highly recommend that you do not either if you value professionalism and actually want someone to show up on time."
