"not a bad place to live at all. there are pros and cons with every place of course. paper thin walls, rooms not cleaned properly upon move in... (there was literally hair still in the shower and clothes from the previous tenant in my room). pros being that maintenance was quick to fix any issues. i had no issues with parking. wifi was quick. nice amenities. i felt comfortable and safe. place is expensive as hell but what's new it's raleigh"
"I would highly encourage anyone looking for an apartment to look at any option other than the station. Terrible response to issue resolution- currently no AC for a week in my daughters apartment (in the middle of august!), took months to get a light repaired on their front porch, replaced front doorknob that left a hole in the door. That’s just a few of the issues! They seem to only have students managing the office. We’ve had terrible experiences here!"
"I lived here for 3 years and it went downhill since I moved in. The location is great, but the complex itself is not. To begin with, the staff trades merchandise for 5 star reviews, so don't trust all of them. There is no parking for residents and its only free because there aren't enough spots. I went a month without hot water, and when a new water heater was ordered, maintence forgot to install it until I asked. I went 2 months without a dryer because my dryer vent was routed the wrong way and all of the lint from our unit was dumping into the attic, creating a major fire hazard. I tried to get this fixed for over a year and the staff did not care until a pipe bursted and water was flooding down our walls at 4am. The wifi rarely worked, the complex is infested with rats, the AC never worked properly, I've had multiple floods and plumbing issues, cars get broken into all the time, guest passes are almost impossible to get and I've had multiple pieces of mail that were kept in the office that did not make it to my mailbox without any notification. The move out fees are insane and even after multiple emails I still have not been provided with proof or even a description of any "damage.""
"The location is good for commuting to RTP and RDU for work. However, they seem quick to communicate when a payment is due and slow for maintenance or any other request of that nature. I lost my security deposit and was even charged additional money when there was no damage visible on the charge photos taken after move out. I reached out a couple times by email to potentially dispute the charges, but got no response. The front desk staff were generally nice and helpful, but at the end of the day it seems they are more after your wallet than your needs as a resident. I would suggest looking elsewhere for living accommodations."
"I lived at The Station for 2 years and loved my time here. My poor review comes from my move-out experience. I have been over $2000 in damages most of which are small things. I am being charged $25 because I left a penny….yeah a penny on the island. $25 for a bag I left in my freezer, which they carried downstairs then text asking me to come pick up (which I did). I am being charged $500 for carpet replacement “due to pet stains”. When I asked for picture proof of this damage I didn’t receive any. I also want to mention that if you have a pet find somewhere else to live. The Station will charge you $300 as a pet deposit. That is supposed to cover “any pet damages” and then this charge is never taken out of the damages. I’m not only shocked but also disappointed that this complex has been this unprofessional during the move out process….and it seems I’m not the only one this has happened too."
