Reviews
"I want to leave a review basis on my experience with staff at Midtown 501. Ellen in the office is my absolute favorite person I have met here so far. She is very personable and professional. Christina runs all the extra circular events and is really creative with each event. We had an amazing time at New Years Mood Board event. She makes sure to welcome everyone and starts conversation that brought the residents together. The amenities that this apartment community has are really top notch. As far as the apartment there are pros and cons. It is very spacious however lacking storage closets. The master bedroom does get colder than the rest of the house. The open floor plan is very nice for entertaining and feels more like a home rather than an apartment. So far my family is very happy with our decision to move to Midtown 501!"
"Regrettably, our experience with the staff at this establishment was extremely disappointing. Despite having paid the initial application fee, we were surprised to be asked for an additional $325 after applying (supposedly each tenant had to pay this). Does anybody exercise control over these crooks? To our dismay, after this payment, we were informed that the desired apartment was no longer available. Instead, we were presented with an alternative unit at a significantly higher monthly rent. Adding to our frustration, there was a mandatory $95 internet and TV package that we were compelled to pay each month. Attempts to communicate with the management were futile, as calls went unanswered and messages were never returned. We strongly advise prospective tenants to exercise caution and carefully consider their options before engaging with this property. The lack of transparency, unmet promises, and poor communication practices paint a concerning picture of the management's integrity. It is advisable to be wary of any persuasive pitches from the staff, especially when it involves additional fees, as our unfortunate experience highlights the unreliability of such assurances."
"I have lived here for around a year and a half now and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. This community cares about making home feel like a home and will do their best to accommodate your needs. Maintenance is timely and all of the workers are kind and very helpful! They have started to do more community events, which makes living here even better. Please keep up the great experience!"
"Living here for 2 months now and it’s been delightful. Started with the new professional staff in the front office, helpful and respectful maintenance team, and well maintained grounds. Volleyball court is always ready for a game, huge pool is still open for a workout swim, two new pool tables and a card game table, grilling stations, fire pit, gym is never crowded and large enough for at least 20 patrons at a time, tennis courts, playground, and dog park. It’s a really nice complex. Tonight is movie night which the new event coordinator put together for the community. Hocus Pocus time."
"My husband and I moved into Midtown 501 a few weeks ago. I feel like we got here at the best time– there's now a new management company, so I do not think the old reviews are valid anymore. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities at the club house are awesome, most of all the pool and the workout room: well taken care of, very clean, and not crowded. It's in an amazing area with a peaceful nature walking path just around the corner. Right by the Trader Joes & Aldi, right down the road from UNC, but still tucked away so it's nice and quiet. We've also been so impressed with the staff (especially Jen, who seems to be the property manager with the new management company). I had a dumb question about the dishwasher and David (one of the friendly property maintenance guys) promptly showed up to help us and was so patient and kind about it. We love it so far!"
