Kingswood Apartments

"I highly recommend Kingswood if you are looking for an apartment in Chapel Hill. It’s on a bus line and is so easy to get to campus, but there are a lot of families and professionals here, so it doesn’t feel like I’m stuck in an undergrad dorm. I have a dog and she loves the mini dog park at the apartment complex, and there are enough green spaces to walk around without being right on top of the other dogs who live here. I’ve never felt unsafe here. My apartment has so much natural light, space, and storage. I’ve had no problems with bugs here, which is super rare for NC, and I love that Kingswood takes a proactive & preventive approach to extermination. Maintenance has been so quick to respond and address any issue I have, no matter how small/large. And the leasing office – especially Isvela – has just been great to work with. I am so grateful to have found a home here."

"I am new to the Chapel Hill area, however, this was one of the cheapest options around, and it looked decent. However, I saw the post about somebody selling illegal food at the complex so me and my fiancé, which speak Spanish inquired about the food sales at the apartment mentioned. It is true, it is also true that they are filled with people all the time, I saw it. We were so close to considering this complex, but when we found out, however, that some of the stuff on the reviews is true, we stopped. I think that they should do inspections more periodically, people subleasing is also illegal if it is not under the office consent. The S building in particular should be revised. If you want a peaceful environment, and non-illegal things, I do recommend looking out in other complexes."

"This has been a very good rental experience. The apartment was clean and ready to move in. The office staff is extremely helpful. Katya answered all of my questions and solved the very few issues we had. She has been a pleasure each time we speak! I would recommend this apartment complex."

"My roommates and I greatly appreciate Kingswood for its affordability, cleanliness, convenient location, and quietude. We feel safe and taken care of by management and our service requests are always handled within a day or two (one leaser among us has been here two years, and finds this service consistent!) Parking is simple. Our apartments are lightly clad in forest-y patches--a nice view. Our particular room gets less light than we expected, but floor lamps brighten it plenty. The other thing is running across the highway from the bus stop at rush hour can be dangerous, but if one pays attention and waits her moment, it's ok. Thank you for everything!"

"I had a positive experience leasing an apartment at Kingswood. Katya in the leasing office was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure my move-in went smoothly. The apartment was clean and in good condition, and the service department responded quickly to a small issue I had. Kingswood is a great place to live for someone who wants to be close to campus. There is a bus stop right outside the complex, making it easy to get around without a car. I am still relatively new to Kingswood, but so far I am very pleased with my decision to live here. I will update this post with future experiences."
