Rizzo Center - Destination by Hyatt

"I was forced to stay at this hotel. My daughter works for Hyatt and she told me I have to stay here during my recent trip to Raleigh. It was a bit of driving from Raleigh to this place, but it was so worth it. This hotel is a great property. It's not modern. It's very classic and I am totally fine with it. The onsite garden is so beautiful. The morning walk was so awesome that I almost missed the check out time. I did not want to leave the property. The swimming pool also looked splendid and romantic. It's regrettable I did not bring my swimming suits. I also took advantage of the pantry that was filled with ice cream and snacks. Complimentary breakfast was not the most delectable meal, but the classic dining set up was more than I could ask for a complimentary meal. I will definitely revisit Rizzo Center Hyatt if I am in the area in the future."

"Stayed here for two weeks. Beautiful rooms in a great, serene location. Located within a beautiful community with shops and restaurants nearby. Appreciated the association with UNC and the many amenities offered especially the laundry. Will definitely stay again in the future."

"I got lucky one time I booked an express deal through Priceline and this was the mystery booking I was placed in. Ever since I stayed there when I come to the area I don’t want to stay anywhere else but here. The staff is great, everything is so clean, I love the pantry’s where guests are welcome to snacks at any given time, it’s on a beautiful piece of land, covered parking, basketball court and so many other wonderful things. I wish this was closer to my home because it would be a nice weekend getaway whenever I need a break from life but not able to travel far. The pricing is a little steep for me but you definitely get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny!"

"Staff was friendly, courteous, and professional . I enjoyed Wally's (employee) company as I dined at the grill in the evening. Only bad issues were; 1). Shower water didn't get hot 1st night I was there, 2). Mattress was so bloody firm, it caused pain in my lower back and pelvis, 3). 82nd Airborne were a bunch of loud, obnoxious, drunk SOB's hooting, hollering, and carrying on their festivities way past quiet time on ALL the floors and without any staff addressing the issue to them to quiet down or be considerate of other guests. I addressed these issues to a nice, charming young lady named, " Passion ", at the front desk with suggestions."
