"Lived here for two years now and exeperience is great. Safety: It's the only 24-hour gated community around campus as far as I know (others often are not gated in day-time). Once there was a homeless often breaking in to stay in the stairs over night but this issue was fixed later when management changed the lock for the door. Location: 5-15 minutes walk to campus and over 10 restaurants within 5 minute walk. Management: usually responded emails quickly within a day or two and maintainese ppl normally arrived the next day. Trash is conveniently picked up at door. My only small complaints are that the fire alarm seems quite sensitive and will go off probably every month or two (which is bearable and perhaps good for safety) and spectrum, the only internent option here, really sucks. Honestly, it's not the newest or most fancy apartment around Duke and there is no amenities like gym or pool, but it's significantly more spacious than other luxury apartments with lower rent. Best choice for pople who want to live in a safe and convenient commutiy near campus and happy to save a few bucks by getting rid of some amenities."
