"I want to give Robyn Rozell a 5-star review. In my 5 years living here, she has been fantastic. Every concern or issue she made it a priority to fix it. She is more than an office manager but a friend. I will miss her dearly moving out."

"I really had no issues staying here until I was forced to leave due to the landlord not opting to renew the lease. I was a good tenant, quiet, respectful of neighbors and public spaces. I keep my area clean. Regardless of anything I did my best to pay my rent and paid any late fees on the very few months where I fell on hard times. I never let things get to eviction and all my rent was paid up promptly. In NC landlords don't have to give a reason for opting not to renew, but I felt it was really sucky for them to just spring it on me that I have to move, even with 90 day notice. It would have been helpful and decent for you all to give me some kind of warning so as to avoid being penalized like this. Now I have to find another place that takes me and my cat, and pay their deposit and whatever months of rent they charge. And then when I ask to speak to an appropriate personnel from your office to ask further questions, I was deceived into thinking the management director Jean Wells would call me, instead to have someone under her call me instead, just to tell me me essentially "too bad so sad". I'm really disappointed in how things are ending here and feel that it is uncaring at best."

"*** Adding it's June 20th and the pool is still not open and we've been told they will also close it early to refinish the bottom(they told us last year they would be doing that over the winter)Lived here for a year and 9 months now. PROS- -Rent is fairly cheap for the market. -New cabinets and appliances. -A washer/dryer. -Good sized dog park. - Nice sized 1 bedrooms. -Pool is large. -Nice, mature trees all over the property. Maintenance is quick(but only to fix what they deem important). -All the staff members are nice. -Location is great! CONS- Tennis court(one of the reasons I chose to live here) is terrible, net isn't tied down, has lichen growing all over it and the top is stapled together so it rusts and comes apart(have asked and they don't seem to plan on replacing it) also the court is not taken care of, lots of sand and mildew(?) making it slippery and unsafe for more than serve practice. -Make sure they replace your carpet, since day one I have been vacuuming up ungodly amounts of gray dust, it fills my 2 medical air purifiers way too quickly as well. -My bathroom smells like an ashtray because my neighbor smokes in the bathroom and there are holes in the walls around pipes in these apartments that no one bothers to seal. -No central air and despite what they say it does not cool the bedroom unless you ice out the living area, plan to get a window unit fro the bedroom. -The community trashcans are always overflowing and when they do empty, they use gloves to pull off the top 1/4 of it and leave the rest so it smells like old(some of it's a year old), hot dog poo around all the lovely seating and grilling areas, just super unsanitary. -The breezeways are dirty. -No trash gets dumped unless a tenant complains, breezeways stay dirty unless someone complains same with refilling dog bags, we were out for a week not long ago. I just don't understand why there isn't a weekly or biweekly round to check on these needs and dump the trash, there are few amenities here in comparison to other places and they just raised the rent again $120, we deserve clean, stink free areas to lounge in!"

"Colonial Parke in Wilmington is a Beautiful, quiet and all around Great Place to live. Helpful and caring staff to make your experience fast, easy and proficient. Beautiful well maintained common and outdoor areas. Fast and friendly Maintenance. Apartments are continously upgraded and well kept. I personally had a all around amazing ecperience at Colonial Parke and would highly recommend. Thank you. 10 out of 10 No question."

"I waited to leave this review to make sure I wasn’t overreacting. I will be completely honest about my time living at Colonial Parke. The staff including the maintenance crew were pleasant and tended to any needs that I had. The issues I experienced are the following: When showing you the model of the apartment, you’re not guaranteed to get that exact model unless you specifically ask what kind of units are available and ask to see such units so that you will know what you’re getting. I lived in an outdated apartment where mold was a big issue. There is no central air, so little ventilation goes to the bathroom or the bedroom. Mold showed up in my bathroom ceiling, on cabinets and grew on my clothes. There is no pest control but you can request that maintenance sprays which does help. Overall, for the majority of my stay I felt uncomfortable due to the lack of renovation, how outdated it was is concerning. Due to my inexperience I can admit I should have asked more thorough questions. This is not an attempt to bash or bring this apartment complex down because it genuinely is a great neighborhood. Some units just need to be renovated. :)"
