"Do not rent from them. The communication is absolutely terrible. We put in applications for two places that got rented out without any knowledge. Even had a tour for one of the places and called the day of to make sure they were still meeting with us only to be informed that the place we were going to tour had already been rented without our knowledge, no apology or anything. If we wouldn’t have called we would have showed up for a tour to a rented out house. This has been such a terrible experience and we now have half a month to look for a place."
"Terrible communication. Doesn't return messages. I must have sent 10 messages inquiring on the place. I can see she read my messages on Facebook messenger multiple times and never once did she respond to my inquiry for a place she was renting for a client. She also turned off her reviews on FB Marketplace, so i had to come here. She had several 1 atar reviews there before turning them off. Never showed me the place even after listing it twice and I couldnt even get a courtesy response. Despite mentioning I had a nearly 800 credit score, she never responded. If I was a landlord I would not recommend this woman because she's obviously not looking for the best tenants. If you're looking for a place, don't waste your time, because you'll be frustrated and ignored."
"Moved into one of their rentals in 2017 only to find out they’d “renovated” the apartment by painting over TOXIC black mold. I’m allergic to mold of any kind, and began experiencing episodes of anaphylactic shock regularly. Finally after a bad storm the mold began to bleed through the ceiling they’d painted over (it originally just looked like discoloring of the paint). The landlord insisted it wasn’t mold and refused to remediate. I eventually hired a mold specialist who told me the mold (which by this point grew tentacles of some sort) was the worst type of mold he’d seen in his more than 20 years of experience. The owner came in, against my wishes and removed the ceiling panel himself without properly closing off the house to prevent further mold spores from damaging my property. He’d insisted I was making a bigger deal of it than it was. Before any of this even transpired I had a major infestation of bees in my one bedroom/1 bathroom restroom. Skip their properties, real estate sales included because they take a lot of short cuts that can sincerely cause serious implications on health and safety. Note: I rented the property in 2017, when I originally posted this review. I edited recently to add my entire encounter to make sure people who find themselves in similar situations know that they are not alone. Photos: Ceiling photo is before the mold got it’s worst. The floor after it got its worse and his solution was to just remove the rug. And the “tentacle” is an accurate depiction of the type of mold that was growing throughout my rental space."
"My roommate and I have been tenants for four years. They leave you alone and fix things fast. On Super Bowl Sunday they fixed a blown breaker and we were able to watch the game!"
"Always Handle things in a timely manner, very down to earth understanding people, who work with you best they can,No one is perfect and just like anyone else they to have a business to run. They’re not landlords who bother and are constantly at your place, But they know who keeps their place up and who doesn’t and who they should be on top of. Anytime I’ve had an issue they were right there to handle it. Been here 2 years and love it, I have a three bedroom three bath, it is perfect for my family, quiet,my neighbor is awesome.Area is safe for the most part, we can’t handle what others do in the area, besides we are at hard times now and it’s an epidemic people do some crazy things. I can allow my children in the backyard to play and feel safe. But it is also a private property, also Patrolled by Wilmington police for the most part."
