"Stayed at the Sands, week of 6/11-6/18/2022. The kitchen sink wouldn't drain, so unable to use for a day. Commode not flushing, unable to use for 9 hours. Per Ian Crouse, at Intracoastal, the owner approved a refund equal to one day. I requested refund of the one full day and nine hours for the time the commode wasn't working. Not to mention all the phone calls and disruption of my vacation. I was having work done on my home, so was looking forward to relaxing. My request was not unreasonable. I have read some unfavorable reviews about this company. Seems like they are legitimate. Vivian Maynor"

"I can’t speak about Intracoastal realty in general, but I can tell you about Alicia Devereaux. My husband and I wanted to buy a house in the Carolina Beach / Kure Beach area, and we contacted Alicia based on a friend's recommendation. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor. Alicia is very knowledgeable about the area. She worked to meet our needs, letting us know which areas that looked great in February would become high traffic and full of party animals come summer, and directed us to some very nice properties. After we found our dream house, and were under contract and negotiating repairs, the seller died. Alicia worked tirelessly with the executor of the seller's estate and the lawyers to get our house for us. We had a walk through the day before closing, and found the house to be dusty and dirty, with things lying around that should have been thrown out. Rather than have us feel disappointed, Alicia found professional cleaners and paid for them to come on closing day to do a deep cleaning. We are so happy with our beach house, and could not be more pleased with Alicia. She is top notch, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a house or condo in the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area."
