"Came in hoping to just fix a leak . The mechanic sounded very trustworthy and reliable up until he started taking long with our car(10 hours!!!!) , claiming it was the parts that were being ordered taking long and having to fix that issue . We suggested we buy the parts ourselves at auto zone and he then proceeded to say that it was not advisable as we may not get the correct part. Meanwhile we HAVE ALWAYS WENT THAT ROUTE AND OUR CAR NEVER HAD ISSUES , the first time ever we wanted to fully trust this auto shop , A TRUE REGRET. as time went on we received a call of the mechanic claiming we had another issue and suggested another part for the price of $80 as we already had a tab of $415 just to fix a thermostat housing and oil change on 2005 HONDA ACCORD !!!!! My husband didn’t know better so i took over on the phone and he left the price at $415 claiming he was trying to help us as much as he can and said he wouldn’t charge us for labor but would put that extra part in still … I then tried to ask for a specific list of all the parts being ordered and the labor cost and again he said he was just trying to help us as much as he can still not giving me a specific list of how much everything costs but the price was still at $415. When we did get back to the actual auto shop he showed us our old thermostat housing but not the new one being put in . Our vehicle is old and may not be in the best pristine shape to others … BUT WE BARELY USE IT AND WHEN WE DID FINALLY USE OUR VEHICLE IT STARTED MAKING A VERY LOUD TICKING SOUND AND OUR CAR VIBRATES EXTREMELY BAD . THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE WITH OUR VEHICLE PRIOR TO COMING TO THIS AUTO SHOP. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE COMING IN ESPECIALLY IF YOU NOT BLACK !! They seem happy but im not !!!"
