The Athlete's Foot

"I don't think I've ever come across paid employees as unhelpful and aggressively apathetic as the ones I met here. All I wanted was his opinion on whether the shoe was the right fit for my foot, but the employee was pretty much rolling his eyes at me and it made me feel really guilty as if i was imposing on him for asking for help. It went like this: me: hi, can i get your opinion on how this shoe fits my foot? him, staring blankly: I don't know. me: ...............ok. well it has some space at the end of the foot but i think it might be too much space and i was wondering. him, glancing at the shoes: yeah I don't know. it might fit. me, pushing the toe with my finger to suggest to him to do the same: yeah, well this is how much space i have. him: .... *does and says nothing, and is just staring elsewhere, obviously disinterested* me: ...please feel the gap and tell me if it's the right size he reluctantly bends down and barely grazes the shoe, so lightly that he cannot possibly have felt my toe underneath. him: it might fit, maybe me: ... him: ... I don't necessarily mind incompetence or inexperience, but rude dismissiveness is downright unpleasant to experience. i ain't coming back. if you need shoes, look elsewhere. there are many other options."

"You cannot return stuff if you have bought anything during a sale. Which is really bad. This is the first time I am coming across such a weird and bad return policy, I will avoid this store in future for sure."

"Walked into store with a drink, as I had all the other stores in the mall with no problem. (No where in or outside of the store was there a sign saying you could not.) one employee working was sitting on top of the check out desk and there were only one other family shopping at the time. I was told by another employee not sitting on the desk that I was not allowed in the store with a drink. I said ok, may I sit it on the check out desk while I shop. With an attitude she said no, I could sit it outside (in the mall walkway.) I said that is ridiculous that I would just leave and take my purchase somewhere else. She said she didn’t care. I asked for her name and she got an attitude and told me to leave. I did leave and I won’t shop there again. They lost a sale and customer. Please post your rules so people can know what is allowed or not as well as how employees should handle customer service. If someone’s butt is allowed to sit on a desk I don’t think my covered drink would be a problem while I tried to spend money with you."

"I’m surprised by the reviews that indicate the employees including manager are rude and not helpful. I’ve only had really good experiences when shopping with them. The shoe selection is the best in the mall in my opinion."

"This is a wonderful store. It was straightened up and clean. A great variety of toys. The prices are a bit high. The staff was did not engage with any customers for the duration of my time. Not even a greeting. I love the store simply for the fact that they have toys for every age. Unique toys that you don't find in main stream stores. And it's the ONLY toy store in. The area."
