"Today I visited Sagewood apartments, very good facilities, I was assisted by Mr. Brandon who was very friendly and gave me all the information I needed. I hope to come back soon!"
"I went in a tour here earlier this week and thought I’d share my experience for anyone considering this complex. The location is pretty good. I loved how some of the units had solariums instead of patios! Our leasing agent was friendly however my dad and I both noticed he kept walking ahead of us - it felt like maybe he was just in a rush. There aren’t elevators in all of the buildings. One of the ones we saw required us going up 4 flights of stairs. I can’t imagine having to carry furniture up that or even just groceries. The demo unit seemed nice, however definitely look at the actual unit you’re interested in because they can be very different. They have some very outdated looking color schemes in some of them. One last thing I’ll add is there was a dead roach in one of the apartments we looked at. That was off putting and ultimately I decided to look elsewhere /:"
"This community is not what they say. I have lived here going on three year now. The property keeps depleting. For reasons that can not be explained. The entry/exit gates were taken down. And replaced with lift arms. I mean to the point anybody can just walk on the property. I move here because of security and amenities which all have disappeared with no answers. No more basketball court, tennis court or track n field, which my kids loved. The people in the office are disrespectful to their tenants and are dishonest. They lack proper communication and do not even converse with each other. They do not answer the phone for tenants only for prospects. Maintenance team is incompetent and do not service anyone's request. Once you move here they'll over charge you for things unknown to you. They will also charge you for basic in-house repairs. Do not move here. You will be disappointed"
"Lived on property for two years. Have asked for improvements to be done through maintenance applications and no response. Clothes and shoes and furniture have been destroyed by mold. Asked for a moisture test and no response. Have only been told we will get back to you in response to me calling the leasing office. Never a definitive time frame for me to expect a response. Gates in the community were wide open and broken for 6months and have been replaced with crossing arms. Not good security for the price being charged to live. Anyone can come in. Used to have to enter in a code to gain access to property. Not s pleasure to live here anymore"
"Living here for the last 12 months has been hell on earth. I say this as someone who has done leasing for the last 10 yrs both on the commercial and residential side. If you’re considering moving here, on your move in day do not accept the keys until you walk the unit with someone from the office. When I was moving in, my unit was not turned (industry terminology) at all - the walls needed to be painted, the floors were badly damaged from the previous tenant, the light fixtures in one of the closets was broken, the shower in my second bedroom didn’t work, the sink in the same bathroom didn’t drain properly, underneath my kitchen sink the bottom of the cabinet suffered serious water damage, and the carpets needed to be shampooed badly or replaced. Needless to say, because I accepted the keys from Kylie, once I pointed out the list above, she claimed I took possession and therefore I was subject to the terms of my lease. So here starts the year from hell! The office has seen high turnover with managers and leasing staff. There’s one woman there now, Skylar, who is difficult to deal with or talk to. She treats you as if you are a child and not an adult with adult bills. Nonetheless, as someone who’s been in leasing a while, the turnover was suspect at best. The only person on staff who has been helpful was Jalissa but she has moved on to another property. When I’ve talked to other residents who are moving out, and I ask why they are leaving, the first thing they mention is the office and how unfriendly they are. Second, the overall property is not worth the money you are paying per month. With new management comes a different style of handling the property, over the last year, the maintenance requests take longer to respond to and close out. Forget asking about pest control, although you pay for it every month, and you know a manager is difficult when their vendors complain about working with the office. Like I said been at this a while now. During the summer, fall, and winter months, we often experienced utility outages. As someone who works from home, several times I would wake up there would be no water with very little notice. During the cold snap over last winter, I didn’t have heat for several days. I had electric but no heat. Let’s not mention this summer with the rolling blackouts - it’s been “fun” living here. You honestly don’t know what you’ll wake up to. Then there is billing- you pay for valet trash and trash separately. Maybe it’s a thing in the south; but if I pay for valet trash that should include the break down of my boxes being set outside my door for the valet. Nope! And nonetheless there is the additional $10 fee for trash but who knows what this is for because the leasing staff can barely explain it. Lastly, I would advise you to look elsewhere. For what you will spend on rent at plantation park, you can find other properties, WELL TAKEN CARE OF, that are cheaper and newer than this place with fees laid out in full so there are no surprises. If I could advise Greystar about Plantation Park, I would tell them tear it down and sell the land to a real developer."
