"Tommy is the only reason I come to get my car serviced at this location. I’ve had issues on two different occasions that got solved immediately once Tommy got involved. I’ve done some work on my bumper, headlights, a recall and some other services and again due to certain employees stepping in I did eventually leave satisfied. Brian from the service department has a terrible attitude and lacks all costumer service skills."
"While it was a slow start to get the vehicle, checked in, after that, it was a really a wonderful experience. Do not get discouraged or frustrated by the check-in process, every service member is taking their time and doing their job to ask the right questions. They really are an incredibly knowledgeable bunch that care about every detail. I felt that the service team really took the time to figure out what was wrong with the car and worked diligently through the warranty process to see what was covered. They really could not have been any nicer or knowledgeable. Tommy and John were definitely standouts in his process. I could not recommend this team for service any more… If I could give them 10 stars instead of five I absolutely would. They also checked in with me through the process to let me know what was happening. They are truly a standout, tremendous team on both the service and customer service fronts."
"The representative that answered the phone for option 2 "check on the status of your vehicle" provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. She acted as though me checking when my car would be ready was an annoyance. I believe her name was "Dee". Between her and the advisor, I kept getting different answers on the status of my car. I dropped it off at 7:30am Monday morning, and work was not started according to the link until 9:12am Tuesday morning. I had to cancel multiple appointments because no one could give me accurate information. I called again Wednesday morning at 7:37am, and there was no answer. I called again after 8:00am so I can figure out if I am getting my car to get to work or not, and "Dee" said that they couldn't give me an answer because they just started. Then I demanded to speak to the advisor, and she told me the car would be ready in the afternoon because they are waiting for a part. 2 minutes later she called back and said the car was ready. I head to the dealership to get my car, and the system is down. A phone call would have been nice so I did not miss 2 hours of work waiting to pay for my car. Then when I asked exactly what the problem was and how it could have happened, no one could give me a straight answer. I expect better customer service and communication from the dealership where we have purchased numerous Chevy vehicles. If I have another issue with this car, I will not be returning to New Rochelle."
"I warn anyone considering New Rochelle Chervrolet to NOT go there- and don’t have your service done here! I purchased my Tahoe here, and have found the service department to be dishonest. I went for an oil change. The oil change includes tire rotation and, in my case, the tires were definitely NOT rotated. They lied to my face, saying the tires were rotated. I questioned it three times and they stood their ground; refusing to rotate the tires. I know they didn’t rotate the tires because I had a slow leak in the front right tire and still had had the slow leak in the front right after servicing. I’ve been sliding around like crazy since, especially due to the snow. I’d imagine if they lie about this, they lie about everything else- they probably didn’t change the oil either, despite charging me close to $200 for an oil change. I wouldn’t buy a car here either; I’m sure the sales guys lie through their teeth as well. Never again. I’m done with this dealership. Watch out for these guys. Chevrolet should revoke their franchise license. Update. With the snow and ice conditions today, my Tahoe slid off the road due to the tires not being rotated and I was stranded on the side of the road about to fall off an icy mountain for three hours till I could get towed out. New Rochelle Chevrolet’s gross negligence and willful misconduct lying about my tires is a direct cause of this- thank god my family wasn’t in the car with me. Do not let this dealership touch your car- they will put your family in danger."
