"On a trip from our house in North Carolina about two weeks ago, we encountered a severe vibration in our truck between the 40 mph and 50 mph speed limit half way through Virginia. We spent the night in Winchester VA, and the next morning we drove to the nearest major retail brand care car center (whose name shall not be mentioned) to have the vehicle checked out an hopefully repaired as we were on our way to Poughkeepsie NY for a business trip. They checked out our vehicle, charged us for thier time to do so, and informed us that we had a be torque converter in the transmission, and that they could not repair it. We made our way without incident to Poughkeepsie with the vehicle still vibrating and shaking, and contacted Andy at AAMCO in Poughkeepsie (who had been recommended by another transmission shop professional near by) who stated to bring the vehicle in for him to look at. Andy went out of his way that very day to diagnose what we thought was the problem based upon what were informed by that other care care center, but found that it wasn't the transmission at all, but a rather a bad rear U-Joint in the drive shaft. He went out of his way and quickly repaired it that day as he knew we were from out of town, and that we had to drive back home in a few days. I cannot say enough about his professionalism, excellent mechanical skills, and honesty regarding our experience with Andy and AMMCO in Poughkeepsie as he is an honorable man of his word, very experienced, and an excellent businessman. Many thanks to Andy for your assistance, and I would recommend you and your company's services 8 days a week to anyone. Two thumbs up!"

ACCORDING TO ANDY, HE CLAIMS TO HAVE REBUILT MY TRANSMISSION USING ONLY THE CASE AND PUT IN ALL NEW PARTS AFTER REMOVING ALL THE OLD PARTS AND EQUIPMENT AT HIS AAMCO SHOP. ANDY, PROVIDED ME WITH AN AAMCO WARRANTY FOR 12 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF INSTALLATION OF THE NEWLY FULLY REBUILT TRANSMISSION. THE COST OF THE NEW REBUILT TRANSMISSION WAS $ 4,200.00+ TAXES. I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT. HOWEVER, THE AAMCO TRANSMISSION INSTALLED BY ANDY'S AAMCO SHOP FAILED WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF INSTALLATION IN NEW YORK CITY. I HAD TO TOW MY WORK VAN FROM MANHATTAN TO POUGHKEEPSIE USING AAA ROAD SERVICES FOR THE AMOUNT OF $ 600.00. ANDY, DID NOT REIMBURSE ME FOR THE TOW CHARGES. I LOST THE USE OF MY WORK VAN FOR 1 WEEK AND I HAD TO RENT A U-HAUL CARGO VAN TO PERFORM MY WORK. IT COST ME $ 1,000.00 FOR THIS RENTAL. AGAIN, ANDY, DID NOT REIMBURSE ME FOR THE COST OF THE RENTAL. ANDY CLAIMED THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE FAILURE OF THE NEWLY BUILT AAMCO TRANSMISSION. TODAY, TUESDAY SEPTEMBER, 26, 2023 MY VAN HAS BROKEN DOWN AGAIN AND THE TRANSMISSION REPAIRS WERE DONE BY AAMCO FRANCHISE OWNED BY ANDY HAVE FAILED FOR THE SECOND TIME IN LESS THAN 12 MONTHS. I CALLED ANDY AND AGAIN HE REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE TOW SERVICES FROM WEST NYACK, NY TO HIS AAMCO SHOP IN POUGHKEEPSIE, NY. AT THIS POINT I DO NOT TRUST THE ABILITY OF THE AAMCO FRANCHISE OWNED BY ANDY. AT THIS POINT I AM TAKING ANDREW J. MC PECK JR., OWNER OF THE AAMCO FRANCHISE LOCATED AT 42 MANCHESTER ROAD, POUGHKEEPSIE, NY 12603 AND AAMCO CORPORATE TO THE COURT OF THE LOCAL JURISDICTION FOR ALL THE DAMAGES THAT WERE CAUSED AS WELL AS ALL THE EXPENSES THAT WERE PAID BY ME TO THE TUNE OF $ 8,800.00 DUE TO AAMCO FRANCHISE ANDY FAILING TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY WORK. I was going through a tough time with a car that gave out on me and Andy, the shop owner, was there to give me top quality advice, expert knowledge but most importantly to me, TIME.
