"The amount of mold is outrageous, they paint over it before you do the tour but within a month it'll start showing up. It doesn't matter how much you try to clean it. Office staff are unprofessional, can't even move out without there being an argument, a letter was left on our door but they never tried to contact us by phone or email. Somehow both rooms came out to the same move out costs but we were charged for separate things, makes me feel like they just charged us the max amount possible. 5 washer and 5 dryers for 4 building is crazy. They all progressively stopping working and we were forced to use an outside facility."
"Constantly had a mold problem in this apartment. Management was hard to deal with and they will extort you for every dime they can upon move out. If you're looking for a place to rent in the area, I would steer clear of this place."
"Lived at the 4214 apartment for a year and never complained to management once even with their inability to offer the amenities they claimed would be there upon move in (washer and dryers tenets could pay to use and visitor parking). Finally upon move out my roommate and I were unable to schedule a walk through before leaving for good. We cleaned the apartment in depth up to the last minute we were able to be in the unit. We were forced out mid way through July when also being forced to pay for the full months rent. It is now October and we are just being charged for “damages” that have not been proven to be ours. Management claims we cannot dispute such charges being that we didn’t have a final walk through. Overall, horrible management and unfulfilled promises. Would not recommend living here."
"My son and his roommate were at the summit for a year and were good tenants that paid on time and never complained. When they left they were given a checklist of things to clean and the spent the last two weeks of their time there cleaning and moving stuff out. Before they left for the last time my wife and I checked the apartment and it was cleaner then when they moved in. The management charged them $125 claiming that they didn't clean behind the refrigerator and the stove and the blinds on the window were dusty. They refused to remove this fee stating that it's only $62.50 each. I think they charge such a small amount because they don't want people to dispute the issue in court. But I know they've done this to others too. It's a scam they're taking advantage of young adults. By the way these are our kids, the lady in the office made a point to tell me "they're not kids they're adults", very consending attitude. She did care nor was she interested in my comments she had an attitude as if there's no way we could be wrong or made a mistake because the issues she said the cleaning crew noted were cleaned. I encourage anyone that if this happened to you file a small claims suit at the courthouse and the complex will have to appear or send a lawyer to handle the case. I promise you if this happens they will stop gouging these young adults with these petty charges"
"Roughly 100 people living here, 4 guest spots, 1 washer and maybe 3 dryers on a good day. You'll pay for those too on top of paying to park at a place you pay to live at. Monthly pet rent is stupid. Also no warning on rent increases. Apartments are much smaller than they seem in online posts and getting furniture up the stairs is a nightmare with how tiny the walk ways are."
