Cabin Fever

"We stayed for four nights after Thanksgiving 2023. Loved our stay but the cabin didn’t quite heat up completely. If you don’t expect perfection and can handle cobwebs, it’s a nice place."

"We stayed in High Top cabin, and I didn’t want to leave. I honestly wish I could live in a cabin like that surrounded by forest. The campground was beautiful on the mountainside with a few small trails, including one the goes down to a pond with a children’s playhouse, and another that goes up to a tiny waterfall above High Top cabin. As someone else stated, if you don’t have 4WD your car won’t make it up to the parking spot behind High Top cabin which would give closest access to a door to bring in luggage, but we actually enjoyed parking my sedan further down in front of the cabin and walking across the bridge every day for the view of the stream :)"

"This was an amazing spot for a family vacation! Quiet and secluded but offered a really nice kids playground and hiking trails for entertainment. There's plenty of stuff to do within 10 miles of the location and they allow pets! My dog had the time of her life here and we would definitely come again. The prices are extremely low for what your getting and completely worth the 10 hour drive from our home state. Danny was so friendly and really enthusiastic with our kids showing them the playground and talking about the hiking options and views we can find within walking distance. If your looking for a affordable nature themed getaway this is the perfect spot to go."

"Our stay in the cosy "Bird's Nest" was absolutely lovely. From the charming mountain decor to the screened-in porch, we loved our cabin living experience. Everything was tip-top clean and we had plenty of room for our baby's pack n play as well! Dani was an excellent host and made us feel so welcome. We can't wait to visit again and stay longer next time!"

"I had so much fun at this beautiful spot, the owners were very nice and helpful. They never missed a beat! The cabin was clean and comfortable and they provided all the cooking supplies/ fire wood you would need. Definitely planning another trip sometime soon!"
