"Survey Review - I needed a survey done for a property in Linville Falls, NC and everyone I spoke to recommended Michael Lacey as the surveyor I need to hire. I know surveyors are extremely busy in this 2021 real estate market but Mike was responsive and called me back within a reasonable amount of time. We discussed the property I needed surveyed, his schedule, and how long it would be until he could get started. He was backed up months (at the time) and totally transparent about it. I said I would like to move forward and get it done and would therefore like to get on the list. He communicated with me the entire time while waiting. His attention to detail and thoroughness were as I have never seen. He discovered the land boundaries had issues and he offered suggestions on how to cure them and even held his invoice until it was rectified. Given how much time he likely had in it, his price was more than fair. He provided multiple copies of the survey on large paper for my records. I told him I couldn't remember her name and he told me if I couldn't remember her name then I just needed "to forget about it". Didn't offer to take my name or number down or anything.
