"Was looking forward to this place for a guys night out. We had a reservation, yet we were waiting at the door for 10 minutes until someone finally came to get us. You can’t really sit down right away or talk to anyone because you have to wait behind glass. The food was okay, not too many diverse options. The boiling part of the dinner was useless. The fire below was not hot enough. The eggs and veggies took forever to boil. The restaurant seem understaffed, so we weren’t really able to order drinks until we finally caught someone nearby. Overall it was an okay experience, would not go back. 4/5."
"Stumbled upon this gem in Queens. Great date spot, solo grub, or with friends and family. Servers were attentive and kind. Perfect for meat lovers! It’s all you can eat so Come Hungry! Highly recommend: Short rib (flavorful & delicious!), marinated pork, fried egg, garlic fried rice, fresh noodles, and chive pancake Wish there were more veggie options and the space is a little tight but very clean. Overall, my partner & I had such a great experience. Our new favorite spot."
"Boon Dee BBQ in Queens is a hidden gem for barbecue lovers. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions and provide recommendations. The menu at Boon Dee BBQ offers a wide selection of mouthwatering barbecue dishes. Whether you prefer pork ribs, brisket, or chicken, you won't be disappointed. One of the highlights at Boon Dee BBQ is their homemade barbecue sauce. It's the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, elevating the already delicious meats to another level. You'll find yourself reaching for extra sauce with every bite. The prices at Boon Dee BBQ are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable dining environment. In conclusion, if you're in Queens and craving some barbecue, Boon Dee BBQ is a must-visit. With outstanding food, friendly service, and reasonable prices, it's a spot that won't disappoint."
"Do not get discouraged by the line. If you are a party of 2 you get seated very quickly. The line is for the larger groups. This is all you can eat and you get 90 minutes. The service was kinda lacking. We were seated, but no one explained anything to us. We had to go get our own water, then ask for cups ourselves. I get this place is self served all you can eat. But everywhere else they would ask us if we need anything to drink to start. The food was pretty well organized and presented at the self-serve area. Everything is fresh and overall, if you have been to one cooking yourself BBQ place it's all pretty much the same. I love the sauce area, all kinds of mixtures. By the time we're almost done with the meal, finally someone comes and asks us if we need anything to drink. Awesome. The highlight was the shaved ice and deserts. They are very fresh and tasty."
"First time trying Thai BBQ, not sure what to expect. I was surprised to see that majority of the food at the BBQ were pork though. They do have some beef, chicken, and lamb to BBQ, but it is 85% pork. The appetizers are good. They do run out fast, but the servers regularly refill them, so no worries there. As for the grilling, you have to grill your own meat. If you do not know how, make sure you bring someone that does. The pot is set up so that, after you grill, you can keep the meat warm in the surrounding soup. Of course, this also removes any excess oil and fat, as well as, add additional flavors."
