"Tried to use MENTER and pay personally and was quoted a price of like around $3,000.00. Luckily I had also spoken to a lovely gentleman at Highland Patient Transport in Syracuse who quoted me $256.00. I wanted to keep my dollars at home, but they made it difficult."

"As long as this accepts a no star rating I am good to go with what just happened to my brother this afternoon while being loaded into the back of the ambulance. As my brother is terminally ill he is unable to walk at present due to something going on with his hip, so his Doctor and I decided to have him transported to Crouse Irving ER for an x-ray on his hip. Well as they were pushing the gurney into the back of the van they didn't listen to me when I said he needed to lower him more so he would not hit the back of his head on the metal hook that the doors latch on. He even reached up and grabbed the back of his head and said ouch! And when I said something about it they tried to say he hit it on the pad and I watched it happen . (I tried to get them to listen so it wouldn't happen, but it still did). I will not ever let them transport anyone in my family again. What a bunch of rude jerks."

"Completely unprofessional and rude individuals. I was in a incredibly minor accident where I hit a tree. I refused all treatment and refused any vitals or anything. I then get a bill for $300. Companies like these pray on poor people. On top of this, both attendees were incredibly rude, and very pushy to get me to do vitals when I needed no medical attention. A classless organization."

"On New Years morning my Mother needed to be transported to Upstate Hospital from her home in Oswego, per her physicians request. The 2 men working, sat in the driveway and argued with my Mother stating Oswego would treat her exactly as Upstate would. I am outraged as it is my knowledge they are to transport where patient requests to go. Once arrived at Upstate, they rushed her into the waiting room and left her there to fend for herself. She is unable to walk and is currently awaiting major surgery. I am very disappointed as most experiences with this company have been decent."
