He was 2 hours away and exhausted and called this tow company as he is unfamiliar with the area and just wanted to get home. He told the guy how far he would need to travel and asked how much. The guy said no more than $500. In a jam- he knew he would have to just pay it. When the vehicle was brought to the repair shop- he was handed a bill that said $795. When questioned why so much more the driver said it was return costs that made it that high. This should have been stated up front and included in the cost he was quoted. This is absolutely taking advantage of a bad situation and as far as I am concerned this was criminal as he refused to unload the vehicle until he was paid. Shame on this company."
