Hampton Inn Mebane

"My stay here was okay due to the front check in lady and their location near where I had to work for a couple of weeks. The hotel has a lot of issues. The first week and a half, the elevator was broken. The entire stay, the treadmill was broken. Had a breakfast one day and that wasn't worth it. The cookies out every night where very good and welcoming. The CC wouldn't work on my first rooms TV, so I was moved to a room that it did work on. The bathtub plumbing was loose, but I dealt with it because I didn't want to end up with no CC or having to hike 4 floors many times a day. Definitely needs updating. Pool was outdoors and closed due to weather, as expected. I stayed 2 weeks in a row due to work location, but would consider a longer commute in the future."

"The room was pretty nice and most of the front desk workers were super friendly. When I arrived, the room was not latched and the cleaning hadn't been completed. I didn't really notice as I checked in online and arrived after midnight but there was hair on the bathroom floor and hair ties under the pillow. When I told the front desk, they said they'd put it in the log but they seemed very nonchalant about a guest staying in a room where the sheets clearly hadn't been changed since the previous guest."

"4 stars because the doors were locked when we got there late. I called to let them know we would be late and they said “fine.” The clerk came in and we had to force the door open. They also charged both the card I held it with and my debit card. I have to go to the bank and see if that’s resolved."

"I was traveling back to Anderson SC from Maryland and had my two dogs and cats with me. I decided in hot weather that this trip needs to be a two drive. It's hard to find places to stop for me to potty. My new car won't run if I try to lock the doors. The front desk checked me in quickly and put us in a room near the elevator to make potty breaks out for the dogs easy for me. The breakfast served in the morning was awesome. We will be using this as our stopping point coming and going to Maryland from now on!!"

"We spent 3 nights and the stay was great. The breakfast staff was really the only interaction we had, and they were wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Food was as expected of a Hampton. Hot and satisfactory. The room was comfortable, and we liked having the loveseat to sit on. The TV was disappointing. It's very small. The bed is the hardest we have ever slept on, but this is a personal choice. The location is great, but they sure could use some street lighting on the side road it is on. We had a nice stay and would stay here again."
