"A great place for fall fun! We took our dog through the corn maze and had a blast. It was a nice day, great walk, and a good time for everyone. They also had recycling and trash bins so you can pick up after your pup. They have amazing figs here too so make sure to pick some up at the small gift shop."

"I had the chance today to visit Wagner Farms near Rome, NY today. Wagner has a sunflower plantation and corn fields at their farm. It seemed like a good way to spend some time with my wife, daughter and grandchildren on a late summer afternoon. Honestly, I was surprised at what a nice time it was.The entire layout was crafted with comfort, safety and clean fun in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful. Trails through the many sunflower fields were wide, clean and well marked. There was even a corn maze to enjoy with the kids, featuring some surprise displays along the way. There were MANY porta-potties throughout the various fields for visitor's comfort. The Wagners also have a nice, easy hay ride that tours around the sunflower fields. I found it a nice break that offered an enhanced, elevated view of the beautiful fields. Wagner also has concessions selling snacks, drinks, souvenirs and, yes, vegetable produce. We bought a few ears of corn to enjoy with dinner. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best sweet-corn I have had this season! You will also find games for the kids to play, a small farm museum featuring old tillers and other old-time implements and ample outdoor seating and picnic tables to enjoy your snacks, or just relax. I have been through many similar farm- based facilities over my years. Wagner Farms is clean, organized, nicely laid out and comfortable to visit. Wagner is a cut above and in my opinion deserves my 5th star."

"What a fun visit! The owner knows his figs for sure! We got an informal tour of the greenhouse and learned about growing figs from an expert. Sadly we missed harvest season which we were told is roughly July through November, with peak season being August and September. We plan to come back when we can go home with a pint of figs. It's rustic and a real working farm, so wear your jeans and muck boots."
