"I had a layover in Albany so I looked on Google maps to decide what I wanted to eat when I got to the hotel. All day I was thinking about getting the fried pork. I get there at 7:20 pm on a Saturday and they are sold out of mostly everything except sides, snapper, and one other dish they had some remnants of. If you close at 10pm, you should have enough food to stay open until 10, otherwise change the hours to closing at 7:30 or 8. It’s so annoying when places won’t cook more food but they are still open for a few more hours. I could maybe understand this on a Wednesday night, but a Saturday? You’re leaving money on the table. The staffers were friendly though. I guess everybody just wanted to go home early."
"Stopped in to try some Haitian food and it was great. I Had 3 different meals, fried pork, and a small stewed beef and vegetable stew with beef. The full meals were 15$ for a full container of food and rice and a couple freshly fried plantains. The small bowl of vegetable stew was on the house because they wanted me to try a lot. Haha. The Beans and rice were great and I used some extra sauce on the side from the stewed beef which was very tasty. The Fried pork was awesome, it was nice and crispy along with the golden fat covered pork. It came with some nice fresh onions and peppers, it added some color too. The young men and women working wre very friendly and nice. They helped us by explaining what the food was and how it was cooked, all with a big joyful smile. I did not see and desserts or Haitian drinks, that would be a great addition. I will definitely be stopping in again! Thank you for the great tasting food!"
"This is authentic Haitain food. Everything was delicious. The staff was amiable. The place was well decorated with art work from Haiti. Loved that I got to sit down and listen to Kompa music. After eating in, I had to order something else to go for the next day as I was visiting. Overall, a great place to eat!!!"
"This was my first time having Haitian food and I loved it! I ordered the black rice, stewed goat, and plantain. The staff were super friendly and welcoming- it's nice to see a Haitian restaurant in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back to try the other food."
"So good! Will definitely be back to try everything else. The lady behind the counter (didn’t get her name) was very nice and recommended some things which we got and it was just absolutely delicious! The fried plantains were 10/10"
