"It was the service! It made me want to throw up the chocolate I ate from the place. Never buy a gift card from them because the redemption process is arduous. I got a chocolate party from them as a gift. When it was time to redeem it I was met with rude service. Paying a super premium for a service such as this only makes sense for the experience of it. Getting Lindt or Turtles from the grocery store is far more economic. This is supposed to be FUN! Having an argument about a candy gift created a bitter experience. Don't do it! I would describe the interaction as rude, hostile, accusation laden. We spent nearly $200 on CANDY to have a sweet experience only to be met with bitterness."

"I found this place by accident when I went across the way to Southern Craft Sandwiches to get lunch. I’m so glad I walked into the shop. I was overwhelmed by all the many choices and I’m not even into chocolate like that. I got the birthday cake cluster, Oreo cluster, chocolate covered strawberries, white chocolate raspberry truffles and chocolate covered Oreos. Everything was incredible, but the strawberries and the white chocolate raspberry truffles really stole the show me. I love that the place is Black-owned and a local business. Win win win."

"Visited the Chocolate Boutique today for the first time. The store is an interesting place to stop. Lots of chocolates to indulge in. They also have bourbon and whiskey filled chocolates. There are sodas and ice cream for purchase as well. Everything looks delicious and has very nice packaging. There are also some selections of wines to pair with your chocolates. The one critique is that there were 2 staff sitting at a table behind the checkout area chatting that never greeted or spoke to us."
