"One of the most unique dining experiences we've ever had! Food was very very good, wine selection is large and included some of my favorite wines. But what took my breath away was decor! Chocolate cheesecake is a must have."

"Not what I expected. For 35+ years I’ve always heard that Angus Barn was the place to go for steak. I finally was able to go and was completely disappointed. We arrived 15 min before our reservation only to have to wait 30min to be sat, hostess said she forgot to “arrive” us when we checked in. While the atmosphere is great, the food was at best average. I’ve had better steak at places like Outback and Texas Roadhouse. And at $80 dollars avg per person you would expect 5 star knock your socks off food. I had the featured Surf and Turf which consisted of a 7oz filet , grilled shrimp and a very small piece of lobster. Steak was tough as was the seafood. Was reminiscent of precooked food that you would find at a catered corporate event and did not taste like made to order. My wife had the salmon which was the best thing anyone at our table got. It was a very large portion and well prepared. I’d give the salmon 4 Stars but as this is supposed to be the place for steak and the majority of my table had steak the rating is based on that. In all honesty food overall would have been 3 stars if it weren’t for the price. But at these prices the expectation is higher. I definitely will not go back, at least not for the food."

"Went back for the first time in a while on my birthday (which luckily falls during the time they go all out with holiday decorations!) It. Was. Gorgeous. Per usual they outdid themselves in every way imaginable. Atmosphere was fantastic and there were some awesomely friendly people working who helped ensure we still got a table even though we were running a little behind for the reservation/late in general. Obviously the food was delicious! Oysters were fresh and I had what I'm pretty sure was the best steak sandwich of my life. Please don't ever take that off the menu! Server was really nice and knowledgeable; she even made it a point to bring a cute little birthday dessert over. Thanks for always going above and beyond to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience. It was magical, even more so after learning about the history behind the resturant and the decor. Can't wait to return, will definitely be back there a lot more this year."

"We go every year around Christmas. It was so crowded, and the wait was insane. We ate at the bar. Service was amazing, you feel the holiday cheer, everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves. I ordered a wedge salad and ribs. The salad was so good, but the ribs were cold and did not taste fresh. Taste like they had been thawed out. Friends had the lobster and steak, and they did not find it to be the best they had there. I believed that because of the kitchen load, they were not able to give their normal quality, and the food quality dropped. We will try it again. The gingerbread cookies and the decorations were a great holiday touch."

"Excellent food , beautiful place… elegantly decorated with Christmas. Our waiters was very friendly and polite.. super nice !! His customer service was excellent. Next time we will enjoy the tomahawk for two. Definitely I highly recommend this restaurant"
