"I did give this salon a -0 but now I give it a 100++++ I had an awful experience, but I had to call the Better Business Bureau and they made everything right and gave me my money back plus a free month. I had an amazing experience today KARRA is the most amazing person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!! She was so helpful!! She deserves a raise like seriously she went over and beyond she is the definition of southern hospitality!!! Thank you palm beach for correcting your mistake and making it fair! God bless you!! I eould definitely recommend this tanning salon to everyone local If I could give no stars I would here is the email I sent then and they said they will only give me August payment back even tho I canceled in march and they still billed me every month This is my second email in regards to getting a refund because my bank account is still taking $54.95 EVERY month for palm beach tan in Wilmington NC. I came in to the Fay 14 location in Wilmington North Carolina on march 4 2023 and I spoke with the front desk woman and explained I would be going out of town until December and would no longer need my subscription so she asked do I want to freeze it or cancel I said cancel because I wasn’t sure when I would be back then she told me to sign the E-sign document on the pad so I did and she said ok that’s it and so I left. So fast forward to 6 months and it is still charging me $54.95 EVERY month with an additional $1.00 card fee and in march and may I didn’t have the money in my account so my bank over drafted me $20 each time then as soon as I had money in my account palm beach tan took the $54.95. I’ve got my bank statements to prove all of this. So I immediately called customer service and told them that I don’t understand why I am being charged every month even though I canceled my subscription back in March and they said they can’t pull it up in their system that I E signed so it wasn’t showing canceled on there end and so I would have to go in to the store and re-sign the cancellation document and fill out a customer refund form. So fast forward to August 14 2023 I did as customer service told me to do and the lady at the counter could not find where the request form is located on the computer so then she called her manager Dejah Cooper, Dejah did not answer so she called 2 other employees who tried to help her find it but with no success then she called one more woman and asked her if she knew how to find the form and she was going through it with her on FaceTime and she couldn’t find the form either, then she says (because she can see the computer on the FaceTime call) who is she to be asking for a refund when it says she is the one who owe $129.90.. I was so shocked that she would say that the way she did but I’m sure she didn’t know that I heard all that so I said hold on ma’am that was really rude and who am I? Why would someone say this to a customer then I asked her (the woman on the phone) please explain this to me, how am I in the negative when I came in on March 4 2023 and canceled my subscription? .. Then the front desk worker Jade Smeliky said bye to the phone lady and hung up … Then Jade told me the only thing she can say to do is contact customer service again. So here we are today August 15 2023 and now that you know the whole long miserable not to mention upset events I’m referring to the way the woman on the phone spoke about me I wish I knew her name so I wouldn’t have to say (the woman on the phone) I was really upset by that. So anyways please tell me how to get my money refunded because that’s a lot and I’m a single mother but I like to treat myself to a nice tan. "I have been to several tanning beds around Wilmington and Palm Beach Tan at Monkey Junction is by far the best. It is always clean and the girls are always engaging and treat you like a person not just a number. I usually go around lunch, especially when I need a break just to relax my mind. from a busy day at work. Definitely worth checking out."

"The facility is always clean and well taken care of. Karra is very knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me understand how I can best utilize the beds for my tanning goals. I started my membership in anticipation of my wedding in May of 2022, and I’ve remained a member ever since. The new ownership has been a huge improvement (over Ultra Tan) in their communication, customer service, and accessibility. I’m so glad De’jah stayed through the change because she is very sweet and helpful as well. My only concern is how bed 9 hasn’t been working for most of the time I’ve been coming here. Not docking any stars for that, but fixing it would be awesome!"

"One of my favorite PBT locations! The tanning beds and spray tan booths are always clean and the staff is really nice. They are slowly making upgrades since converting from ultra tan and have a lot of options to choose from. 10/10 would recommend!"
