"As a POC, I often feel taken for granted when I patron businesses by non POC. Assistance with finding products and receiving good customer service are important. With that said, the owner should remember that POC are their ONLY consistent supporters, and we are solely responsible for their success. That's why they build businesses in our communities. Respect and gratitude go a long way."

"Horrible service worker she was very rude and disrespectful. I was told to put my backpack up front, which I had no problem doing. I told my friend I could fit this whole store in a pocketbook and rob them blind if I was going to steal but the young lady up front was eavesdropping on my friends and my conversation and said " well you can just leave.". Now mind you, I had already put my backpack up front and was going on about my business with my friend. So I told the young lady You know what I don't want to shop in this jive joint anyway." And got my backpack and walked out.. For the little girl that works behind the counter who decided she wanted to follow me out while running her mouth and I told her if you step outside that door me and you going to have a word. She knew her place and to stay inside because I will not put up with prejudice of any kind. And that's exactly what she was doing. African-American girls are prejudiced too I guess because I look homeless or she didn't like the way I looked that's called being prejudiced and racist so I used to shop there all the time when the other lady worked here but I never see her anymore and it's not worth it will go to Sally's where they are sweet and kind and considerate and have some class about them. I go there quite often with my backpack on and have never dealt with racism and prejudice like this."
