Reviews
"Although short, this trail has great access to and views of the river. I liked that it connected to the Erwin Dunn Rail Trail through the woods. It is well kept. There are bathrooms and picnic tables. It is also stroller accessible."
"Stunningly beautiful park. Clean and wide trails with plenty of options of paths. Very well maintained and ample parking. Easy to find and quiet. Worth a visit."
"It's a lovely park with nice trails. There are some decent views of the Cape Fear River."
"An interesting area to be in, unless you’re a nature person type, but still is nice to be at. The environment is eco-friendly, nice view to see at, and even a good area to fish at! I recommend this place to be made with visitors to be more recognized and others!"
"This little hidden gem is a great spot for fishing. I went here in several occasions and I’ve had a lot of fun. There’s trails, canoe launch points, fishings spot up and down the river. My nephew caught his first catfish here. He was very excited. I recommend coming here with family and friends for a day away from all your day to day job/chores. Conveniently located off of highway road 217. Catfish bite here with Shrimp and chicken liver. Grass carp are rare but you can try with bread or oatmeal. Good luck and have fun! Park is open 24/7"
