"My husband and I were trying to decide whether to move to a house with a pool or put in a pool at our current address. We ended up finding our forever home, and will not need a pool installed, .. but after dealing with multiple pool companies for quotes etc. I must say that this company went above and beyond !! "My wife and are having a great laughs reading these reviews. We are starting a new pool install tomorrow with these guys. Let me clear a few things up if I may. First of all, I am an engineer and I know what this pool stuff is all about. Nathan’s and Brad have been very responsive through the entire process. As for financing, Lion has rigid and burdensome processes for the contractor. If a contractor has a line of people lined up to have pools installed, why would they jump through all those hoops? I wouldn’t. My wife and I secured financing with Lion Financial and when Nathan explained why they didn’t want to work with them, I understood and looked elsewhere. I found Lightstream and HFS who are both direct to consumer financing meaning I pay the contractor as we agreed upon. The interest rate was slightly better with Lightstream and they simply deposited the money into my account and said “spend it how you need”. The approval process took 15 minutes. It was amazingly fast and easy. These guys at Currituck Pools and Patios are running a business and don’t deserve bad reviews simply because they don’t want to be burdened by strict finance company limitations. I will post more as the install progresses but I expect nothing but excellence. They have been very professional and responsive thus far. We will update this review as construction progresses. 7/21/2022 update. Everything has gone really well. No issues and they have been here every day from 8-4 working hard. The pool is in and filling with water. Excellent work and they kept me informed at every step and answered all my silly questions."

"The owner of this business was very nice! He was the fastest pool company to get back to my husband and I and the quickest to get us a quote and finally get the ball rolling on our pool. I spent two days hunting for a financial institution to finance our pool loan at a reasonable rate. I finally found one….Lyon financial…their rate was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than HFS or any of the other competitor lenders. We were super excited ready to pull the trigger told everyone we were getting our pool finally!!!!! Come to find out they do not accept this financial institution due to their payment process. Just incase anyone is ever wondering lots of the surrounding pool companies in the area DO accept that so if you go with them don’t be to disappointed that this company doesn’t accept that. They seem to do a beautiful job and the owner once again is very nice! Highly recommend if you are paying on your own or using their recommended financing company. I only post this review so no one else gets excited or goes through all the searching and craziness I did to make my pool dreams come true!"

"We had a pool installed by Currituck Pools and Patios last fall. We couldn't be happier with the results. We wanted a simple inground pool that wouldn't cost us a fortune. We got multiple quotes from multiple companies, but are happy we decided to go with Currituck Pools. They did quality work, and the equipment that came standard with the instillation (Pentair quad DE filter and control panel, salt cell and chlorinator) is very good and makes pool maintenance and upkeep much easier than I thought it would be. We invested in minimal upgrades which were all very reasonably priced (variable speed pump, natural gas heater, and led lights.) The work quality and professionalism was great. I was constantly texting with Brad and Nate and getting updates on the project as it went along. The couple small issues that came up during the project they quickly and appropriately addressed. We have multiple neighbors that are planning on getting pools at some point and have all been impressed with how ours turned out. They have said they would likely use Currituck Pools and Patios as well. We have been using the pool almost daily for months now, and again we couldn't be happier with it."
