"We had the pleasure of staying at The Lucky Bar Farm this weekend. Steve & Nancy have a beautiful home and made us feel so welcome. Our room was just perfect with a private bathroom. The food was delicious prepared by Chef Steve. The horses were an added bonus. If you’re in the area I highly recommend this B&B as your go to."
"We booked a reservation to stay one night before visiting the tiger rescue center in Pittsboro. I actually called before booking and spoke with Nancy about our itinerary. She was so helpful and kind on the phone, guiding me through the options. (Our tour at the rescue center was early Sunday morning and I'm a pescatarian and I wanted to make sure we wouldn't be a burden, she assured us we would be fine). I booked the room and got a confirmation email soon after. We arrived Saturday afternoon and were welcomed in the driveway by Steve. Nancy soon joined us and we talked a bit before meeting their two beautiful dogs, Georgia and Annabelle. It was such a comforting and warm welcome, we knew we were in good hands. Before we made it to our room, Steve secured us dinner reservations (@Postal Fish - excellent seafood restaurant) and gave us fresh baked cookies. The home and farm are beautiful, located on ten acres in a peaceful quiet neighborhood. The barn out back is home to Cash and Dakota, the farm's handsome horses. We settled in to rest and visit a bit before heading in to Pittsboro for dinner. When we got back from eating, we had a special treat. Nancy had made ice cream earlier that day and Steve set us up on the back porch, under the full moon, with ice cream, cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries. It was a great way to end the day. We stayed in the Cabernet room. It was clean and comfortable. We slept well and woke up to the smell of fresh coffee. We made our way downstairs for coffee and conversation and to play with the dogs as Steve and Nancy prepared a wonderful breakfast including French toast, eggs, fruit, yogurt, and granola. They made sure we were done in plenty of time to leave for our tour. Our stay was wonderful but ended too quickly. We look forward to returning and relaxing at this excellent bed and breakfast."

"We stayed at the Lucky Bar Farm for our 37th wedding anniversary and we absolutely loved it. The room was lovely and comfortable, the house itself was well decorated and land around it was great! There were horses and goats and a swimming pool and it was just lovely! The innkeepers were friendly and accommodating and they made a great breakfast! If you want to relax in a quiet, natural setting and be treated like royalty, you must stay here!! Arnold and Barbara Gilmour"
"What an absolute treat! Lucky Bar Farm is a stunningly beautiful property, the house was lovely, the room was so comfortable, and Nancy and Steve were so kind and welcoming. As soon as I walked in, the warm smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies made me feel at home. I was traveling alone and Nancy and Steve were engaging and helpful. Nancy showed me the barn, and I met the horses, the goats, and their adorable puppies. There was a tasty wine waiting for me when I returned to the farm in the evening, and the home made breakfast was absolutely delicious. I felt very pampered during my stay and enjoyed every minute. Such wonderful people and top quality southern hospitality. I’ll definitely be back and for a longer stay!"
