"JC Penny used to be a low brow store, but not anymore. Almost felt like Macy’s used to be. Very clean, well stocked and organized location. Clearly delineated sections with attractive, well kept displays. Bathrooms and try-on rooms available and clean. Security at the front door. Plenty of employees roaming around. There was a very long, slow moving checkout line to the left of the exit, and a closed check out area to the right. Which upset me. But then a middle aged manager with short hair summoned extra cashiers to the front to open up. Which exhibits good management skills. Well done."

"I took my senior pictures at this place and the 4 receptionist that were doing absolutely nothing but standing behind one computer. I approached the desk and greeted everybody with a welcoming smile and got nothing back in return. I’m waiting for them to give me directions and how to check in and they are conversing amongst themselves after not greeting me back nor making me feel welcomed. After I ask for directions they all scream to me “lastname”. I do not recommend taking your pictures here the picture staff are extremely rude especially the manager. They act like they don’t want to be at work assisting shoppers."

"Very large store with public restrooms and drinking fountains located in Gateway Plaza. There’s plenty of parking and accessibility for people in wheelchairs. The checkout area is in the front of the store and Returns/customer service is in the back to the right side. There’s many cool items aside from clothes, like electronics (saw a vacuum cleaner for $29.99). Checkout line moves quickly and the returns are processed as quickly as possible. Staff are friendly and work quickly to minimize wait times."

"Was very nice to be there when there weren't a lot of people. I went to buy earrings for my daughter, the service was fast and I was in and out in no time."
