"Some people say there's only one lake in Lake Crabtree County Park, but I think they're just lazy. They don't want to explore the other hidden gems that are probably full of radioactive fish. The EPA said the catfish and carp here had too much PCB in them back in 2004, but who knows what else they have now? Maybe they glow in the dark or have superpowers. Maybe they can talk and tell you their life stories. Maybe they're plotting to take over the world. Who cares? I'm not here to eat them, I'm here to use them as bait for sea fishing. That's where the real action is. Sea fishing is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. Maybe a shark, maybe a dolphin, maybe a mermaid. Anything is possible. But before I can get to the sea, I have to get through the lake. And that's not easy. Half of the lake is a swampy mess that makes me feel like I'm in a horror movie. One time I saw a rattlesnake blocking my path and I almost peed my pants. The other half is a concrete road that leads to NORTH CARY PARK, which sounds like a nice place, but it's not. It's full of kids and dogs and bikers and joggers and all kinds of annoying people who don't appreciate the beauty of nature. They just make noise and litter and ruin everything. So yeah, this lake is not my favorite place to fish, but it's the only place I know. I'm still skeptical about its safety and quality, but I guess I'll take my chances. Maybe one day I'll find another lake that's better, or maybe I'll just move to the sea and live there forever. Until then, this is what I have to deal with."
