"If you are not the right race DO NOT GO HERE. Shame on you all working at the Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center. Racism in 2024. We felt it ever since we started our memberships last year and tried to avoid it. Everyone that was involved working at this facility we hope that you will experience the same treatment that you give others. You are not better than another person because of your skin color."
"Well maintained amazing facilities at a very reasonable cost to be used by Morrisville residents"
"MAFC is affordable- which is why I gave it 3 stars. THE POOL - EXPECT TO WAIT 15- 20 MINUTES for lap swim in prime time (after work). There are 6 lanes- One dedicated to aerobics (not laps) and 2 typically have classes at this time. Of the remaining 3 lanes (6 slots) expect 2 or 3 of these slots taken up by 8-10 year old children being "coached" by their parents. They swim a lap and then spend 2 or 3 minutes being critiqued by their parents- they typically take up a lane for an hour. THE WEIGHT ROOM- maintained well and clean. Not uncommon to be overrun by high school kids. The kids are usually respectful, however at times act like high school kids. Too bad it isn't a little bit larger. This is not a place for hardcore weight lifting. Wiping down equipment after use happens only half the time. TREADMILLS / FITNESS EQUIPMENT maintained well. THE STAFF is mostly courteous and helpful, but one or two people act like government employees (which, I guess, they are). In general, a decent facility geared towards children and families. The facility does seem to close a lot or have shortened hours. The week between Xmas and New Years they were only open 9-5."
"Updated based on business response. Don’t get me wrong. This is a very nice pool, but the staff and management is pretty terrible - typical government employees. Staff and management report that they aren’t able to notify those with reservations when there are closures (on Facebook or otherwise). The man working the front desk stated he “didn’t have time” over the last 45 minutes since the thunder to log into the system to report the closure (10 minutes later, no one else came in, and the closure still wasn’t reported). They are apathetic and “hear thunder” when there is none. The staff attitude is poor when communicating this. Unapologetic and relishing in not having to work. For example, lifeguards playing patty cake right by the entrance while listening for thunder and then excitedly reporting they heard more! As a lobby full of customers that drove there to swim waits. I’m aware pools must close for thunder. Being rude or unprofessional about it is just uncalled for though."
"I'd give it a 5-star, for its reasonable price (I ended up committing to a 10-time pounch pass happily for its non-Morresville residence rate) and clean facility. The pool was simply nice and clean, with a suitable temperature (feels cool but not cold), which made me feel very pleased with my first swimming experience over there. I also like the glass roof, which made the facility look/feel very spacious (i.e., being able to see blue sky and trees outside). It's worth mentioning that sometimes I had runny nose within a day after swimming, but that's not the issue here. But there is a drawback: it seems that place is getting so popular so that there's always people around. You may have to wait, and I tend to believe that pretty often you will need to share a lane with other swimmers (with most of them being friendly enough, though)."
