"Disorganized with line structure. Tried to do a return on one floor got sent to another floor, waited on line for 20 minites to be told to go to another part of the store for a return where there is no teller in the front and now I play the waiting game again. Overall spent 1 hour to return one jacket."
"The Jewelry Store sale ladies are terrible! Rude and unprofessional! We tried to return a ring that my husband had picked out for me. They claimed it was bent, and didn’t want to return because of the sales tag. Mind you we had the receipt and were within 60 days. They tried to come up with every excuse under the sun. All that to be said, we went to a different JCPENNEY and returned within 3 minutes without any incident. Terrible customer support, all they care about is the sale, but won’t help once it comes to returns or sizing watches and jewelry. (This happened before when we were sizing a watch with our warranty.) Go to any other jewelry store except this one. Manager was also unhelpful, and careless."
"Horrible service!! Mariam has a bad attitude I had to speak with manager the first time I went for a ring because she threw a book towards me because I asked to look at a ring and she didn’t want to do her job. The manager came and helped and she ordered the wrong ring so we went again the second time to pick it up for no reason. We ordered the correct ring just for us to get an email that it was ready and it still isn’t there. All three times I’ve gone something went wrong. And everytime we go Mariam has been rude and tells us she’s leaving so she will get someone else. Our first encounter with her she also told us we should try a different jewlery store so basically she was losing the company money. The only one who’s been helpful was the supervisor Chrissy. MARIAM should find a job she likes if she’s so miserable at this one."
"Last week I visited the jewelry department and had a disappointing experience. Let me start this review off by saying that I come from a sales background and fully understand the frustrations when you don’t make a sale. However, I was given poor customer service and it really bothered me. I came into the jewelry department with my husband and daughter expecting & very ready to purchase a wedding band. Right away an older woman was ready to help me, great. I was very honest with her on budget and explained that I needed to stay within this specific budget because my wedding is abroad & I’m also already married so I wasn’t being picky about other details. I just wanted a beautiful and affordable ring. She showed me one that was perfect and I loved it but it was $2000 more than what I wanted to spend, so I was confused since I gave her my budget. I tried to brush it off but I was slightly disappointed. Not only did this sales person continuously disrespect what I said by bringing me more expensive rings, but she also made comments that were unnecessary. She said things like “well why don’t you just spend a little more, the quality is better” and “you don’t want that ring, it’s not as nice” that’s my choice if I think something is nice. I repeated again to her that the quality wasn’t of importance to me at this moment, I just needed something affordable. She then showed me 2 rings in budget, they were nice but at this point I was just uncomfortable and didn’t want to buy. My husband noticed I was visibly upset and I told him I changed my mind. I told the saleswoman that I would think about it and she said “wow, that’s really sad. I spent all this time showing you rings and you don’t want to buy?” My husband said “she doesn’t want to.” And we walked away. I took my business to Macy’s and ordered a ring the same day with someone who wasn’t pushy and respected my budget. Bottom line here is that if I had the budget to buy the first ring I would’ve. I’m usually not a stickler for poor customer service but I was bothered by the constant upselling and I continuously repeated to her what I cannot afford. It became rude and careless. And for her to go as far to say “I spent all this time showing you things” my love, that’s your job. Whether I buy or not and I WANTED TO BUY. Do better."
