"Scam? Be cautious. Would be 4 stars at least. Not to bad over all. But, 11 minutes after checking out. 11 minutes. They say the towels ate stain and can nit be washed. One wash rag, one hand towel, and one regular towel. My girlfriend uses temporary hair dye. It does come out when she washes her hair. She used one towel, she uses a loofah, no wash rags. Now, 11 mind after checking out. They have been washed twice in bleach and do not come clean. We have never had this problem anywhere. Now, they want 40 dollars. 40. Even if it was both towels, there was only one hand towel, and both wash rags. 40 dollars. I would be cautious of other things they may scam about."

"My husband and I stayed here years ago and then again recently. The rates are affordable and our room was very clean and orderly. It's located in a very small town so there definitely isn't much tourism going on but that's what I prefer. Small towns are usually peaceful and filled with polite and welcoming residents"

"I love this place! We had to travel during the virus and they did everything to reassure us that they were taking precautions. They had the key waiting in an envelope, everything was super clean, there was a lovely place to sit outside and eat, we just completely relaxed after a long day of traveling. The place is so comfy and homey and it's within walking distance of everything you'd need. The owners are friendly and accommodating and I can't wait to visit again."

"Very charming little road side motel. Was very centrally located to the places we were going. Manger/owner was very pleasant. Room and the grounds were very clean. The a/c worked great and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! The price was very reasonable. Will definitely stay there again when I am in the area. Would recommend."

"We made reservations for this motel for Thanksgiving night. When we arrived, we were given a smoking room. We explained that we reserved a non-smoking room. The very rude man at the front desk told us that we most certainly did not reserve a non-smoking room, and showed us a room that "didn't stink as much". Seeing as I am highly allergic to smoke, it isn't the smell that is the issue. The biggest problem I had with this place was that the man insisted that we indeed HAD reserved a smoking room, and was incredibly rude. After much back and forth, we received a refund, and we drove closer to Charlotte for a room. It was well worth it. The room was small and dingy, and not well maintained. Even if we hadn't been treated so badly, I do not think I would have enjoyed my stay here."
