"This morning I ran over something on Campus Drive that made my tire sound like I had a rock in it. This evening, the slapping sound started, and the low pressure indicator light came on. This was just before 5pm. I drove to one place who asked me to come back in the morning, and then I thought I'd make a run for it home, hopefully before the tire went flat. Bott's was on the way, and I stopped in and told them what happened. They immediately told me to pull up in front. The guy who came out of the garage found two nails after checking all of the tires, removed the nails and plugged the holes, and had it back on my car within 10 minutes. When I went in to pay, they told me it was my lucky day and not to worry about it. I had a good 30 minutes of panic before I remembered they were there and hoped that they still had mechanics working. I was so happy that it was getting it taken care of right away, that they could do this for me, that it was my lucky day already, before they said not to worry about it. Thank you to the men at Bott's!! You have an amazing staff, and I will always recommend you."

"Avoid these guys. Anyone can post anything and the positive reviews must be from allies. Was way overcharged for a relatively simple job. Estimate was lower than price demanded when I picked up car. Now I'm wondering if they intentionally messed something else up. Update- I did in fact find a problem right when I got my car back from this place. I cant say definitively they broke the part, but there was no noise before I brought it in. I did a lot of research on service shops in Port Washington afterwards and know how to do that and found several that I now know are competent and trustworthy and every time I mentioned Botts to vehicle owners and mechanics, most people just rolled their eyes or laughed. I also btw heard very negative comments about the Shell station next to Target and MB Port Auto Care. When you look at the comments on Google and Yelp for those places, too, most of the comments are positive. So just do your due diligence, talk to as many people as you can, use your powers of discernment, don't dismiss the red flags and eventually you'll find someone you KNOW is good."
