"Stayed here a couple weeks ago … The general manager Fren needs to be terminated. I had a problem with my reservation and I felt completely dismissed by her. She acted as if she didn’t want to help me or bothered with me. I am for sure not staying here again … it’s very sad to say cause I am a very loyal customer to this hotel."

"First, every staff member I have encountered has been so kind. However I cannot recommend this hotel. At all. Upon check in, our first room, the toilet was broken and maintenance was gone for the weekend. So, the kind woman behind the desk gace us another. It smelled musty or wet (I think it may be because the bathroom fan doesn't work). That night we found a cockroach in the tub(google images called it a German Cockroach) and the next morning another crawling across the bathroom floor. We told the lady at the desk, who was prompt and said she'd spray the room as soon as we left (we were going hiking). She assured us this is normal in this area in this time of year to find one or two (November) and nothing to worry about. We aren't from around here, so what do I know? Now, the next day, two more. That's 4 in a little over 24 hrs. I have stayed in the Charlotte area before, and other areas in the south, and never encountered this. I am convinced this is a maintenance problem and wish I had left when I found the first one."

"Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Kings Mountain, an IHG Hotel Nice and clean! The hotel front lobby was nice, clean, and neat! The staff was AMAZING, friendly, and helpful. The front desk team is professional and caring! I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Two Kings casino. It is not a new hotel, but it is clean, safe, and inviting. The town is also small and has local “nice” restaurants! Cherokee Grill, The Kitchen, and the ice cream parlor downtown added to the small town feel of the trip!"
