"Great concert by the Salty Dawgs NC to raise money for cancer research. Venue was great - wide grass terraces for level seating for bring your own chairs or sit on the grass. Fairly level pavers allowed dancing to the music in front of the band. Clean restroom. Open to St James residents and guests."
"This park is so beautiful, and it's maintained very well. They have a fenced in grass area for dogs to run around and play; it's clean, fairly big, and they even provide poop bags for waste, and garden hoses for water. There are various trails that you can take, some leading through wooded gardens, others around the parameter of the park or the central lake. There's an amphitheatre that sits on the lake that live bands will come and play occasionally; they even have a picnic pavilion and public restrooms as well. Whether you're looking for a place to jog, play with a pet, or relax and enjoy nature, Woodlands Park is an excellent place to visit."
