"This past July was our first time staying at Summer Sands. We absolutely loved it. Great rooms in a beautiful family, friendly community. The ocean was the most beautiful blue color that I've even seen on the N.C. coast.."

"I stayed here for a long weekend and had a lovely time! The location is just perfect, steps away from restaurants and the beach and the loop. The suite style was nice to have a little extra space than a standard hotel room. My parents stayed in the room next door and it didn't feel cramped to have them over for dinner. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I could smell South Beach Grill from the balcony which made me want to eat there every day! :)"

"Really enjoyed this place with my parents coming to visit but as of recently they have changed for the worse. With no visitor parking and threatening towing for visitors while there are many open spots all through the night and day. Never had problems with visiting my parents at there hotel room up until this stay. Pretty disappointed after staying here for over 10 years multiple times a year this will more than likely be the last time. I work in the hospitality business actually right down the road and was very surprised with how this was handled. With having more spots then they have rooms it’s concerning that a visitor is not allowed to park on property in result has to pay five dollars an hour to visit. It is understandable that visitors can’t park over night but just for a few hours is not very accommodating."

"Stayed just after Labor Day weekend for stay-cation Anniversary. Was perfect location right next to beach, sound, and restaurants. Had a terrific view of the sound to watch the sunset each evening. Will definitely stay again."
