"We spent two nights as we were needing a weekend getaway from the hustles of daily life. Upon arrival, Bryan greeted us with a welcoming smile and continued making sure our stay was pleasant. It is a beautiful campground; owner advised they are working on adding more amenities which will make it even better. We stayed in a cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with linens provided. I highly recommend giving In the Pines a try, you won’t be disappointed – the customer service is amazing and rates are reasonable. Looking forward to booking another stay."
"We loved staying at In the Pines! Bryan texted to check on our estimated time of arrival and met us when we arrived. He guided us to our campsite and even helped us set up (We're newbies), but he was so respectful and didn't make us feel like we needed his help. The RV park is brand new and everything is so clean and works perfectly. The laundry room has two FREE washers and dryers that work great! The bath house is spacious and clean. The water pressure and quality is great. There is a nice dog park for the 4- legged family members and a playground, jump pad, and gem mining for the kids. We would definitely stay there again!"
"Awesome new campground and even more awesome owners! We were extremely fortunate to be allowed to stay at the campground even before its official opening and I believe we were the very first “unofficial” guests. We stayed 10/6 to 10/9. Owners, Jessie and Bryan, were super nice and extremely accommodating. The campground and sites are well arranged with easy access either into a pull-thru or back-in site. We have a Class A RV and a tow vehicle. We chose a pull-thru site. The site was extremely level with a gravel base and parking spot for two vehicles. All sites also have a fire ring and a picnic table. There was plenty room to maneuver around and to unhook and hook up the tow vehicle. There was a nice hiking trail in the back of the campground which we walked. The trail was well maintained making it an easy walk. The location was also convenient for us to go into Wilmington for a day and to explore Southport on another day. While we did not stay in the cabins, Jessie and Bryan were gracious enough to show us several of the cabins. These are all nicely arranged and decorated. There is a nice open area for the children to play, a separate playground, a large fenced dog park and the campground is well-lit. The store was just being set up during our stay. There are also plans to add a pool in 2024. I’m sure you will be pleased with your stay!"
"Great place for a peaceful getaway! My wife and I rented one of the loft cabins and it was perfect for us. The cabin itself was well decorated and felt very welcoming and comfortable. It was clean and had everything we could need. Bryan welcomed us when we arrived at the check in and the process was quick and easy. The property itself is beautiful and with just a short walk towards the back you are completely surrounded by nature. Highly recommend checking it out if you are passing through or even for a relaxing staycation. We will certainly be back!"

The proximity to Wilmington and the beach made it a convenient and delightful getaway. We'll definitely be returning for more peaceful escapes!"
