"Cramped suite compared to other resorts. Literally half the size of our master bedroom back home. Unsecured parking lot for guests in a neighborhood that is questionable. Was a bit of a let-down compared to other resorts we stayed at. Woman at check in was pleasant. 1 big plus was seeing the ocean. Hotel was undergoing renovation during our short stay. From what I saw, there are a lot of improvements and upgrades being made."

"We have been timeshare owners for almost 20 years and we rarely get to enjoy our week. This year was the first year we have been able to take since our last trip in 2015. We were looking forward to our week this year until we received an email explaining the extent of demolition/construction that was underway 1 WEEK before our arrival. The owners should be notified well in advance but I do not recall seeing any communication advising of the planned project. We then learned the indoor pool was being demolished and not being replaced. There are plans to heat the outdoor pool. We have grandkids coming to spend time and now they have nowhere to swim. Why couldn't the condo management and/or association set up the outdoor pool for heating or provide an off-site pool amenity during the demolition of the indoor pool? The indoor pool was a selling point for the timeshares and now this has been taken from us. So there are several other issues we had to deal with during our trip. The unit we stayed in needed cleaning. The bathroom ceiling fan vent was full of dust. There was a dead roach on the bathroom floor. The stove has rust on the top and drapes are dated and both appear to be the original provided to the unit in 1985. The building needs security cameras on each floor to deter/catch people doing inappropriate things (like we experienced). We had teenage kids running around the third floor yelling and throwing ice at the front door of our unit. I complained to the front desk manager and then later went down to ask for an update and the next shift employee knew nothing about it so I explained again. I never heard anything from anyone else about the incident. The dryer on the 3rd floor did not work. I reported we spent $2.00 on the machine and was not offered a refund. The construction/demolition goes on ALL DAY and is extremely annoying since you can hear the power tools inside the unit with windows and doors closed. We pay a lot of money for maintenance fees and expect better management and upkeep of this property. We also were disturbed by someone from Capital Vacations trying to get us to attend a presentation to bank our time. Been there and done that - did not work and was a waste of money. Based on the age and condition of the property, I think it would be best to liquidate and demolish the property, split whatever money that may come from the sale of the lot amongst all the owners, and build a new condo in its place."

"Had a good time while we were there, but they were under reconstruction and yes they need some on the rooms will a little make over. The ice maker in fridge didn't work so we had to visit ice machine on another floor. The staff was really nice to get us room supplies that were not put in our room by cleaning staff."

"So this is a very honest review. I was extremely nervous about the location. I booked it prior to viewing the reviews (shame on me) BUT I was pleasantly surprised by this location. The front desk accommodated our early check-in request for our family of three. Yes, the rooms were a bit out dated but everything worked, everything was clean, there were enough towels and linen was plus some. The location was absolutely perfect for what we needed for four days at the beach. The pool was cleaned daily - the other guests we so fun to meet and socialize with. The beach wasn’t to crowded. The staff was very kind - I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone and I will return. It’s an absolute gem in NMB."
