"Had a wonderful experience staying at The Hive. The rooms were immaculate- just spotless! Really the entire hotel was so clean. We used the workout room and that whole area was very clean. We really enjoyed the treats in the room as well. The room was decorated with great character!"

"We have stayed at The Hive in Wilmington, NC, several times over the past 4 years and love it each time. We choose The Hive b/c we know it will be clean, cozy, spacious, pet friendly, and have nicer accommodations than at an air bnb or comparably priced hotel in the area. The location in Wilmington is great as it’s 2 blocks from the river walk. And the beach is an easy 10-15 min drive. This is our go-to spot in Wilmington."

"This place has it all! Great location--walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Thoughtful touches, like candles, plenty of soap and shampoo, an assortment of snacks and mints, lights with dimmer switches, and filtered water. The check-in and out process is easy, and street level parking is close by. I'd absolutely stay there again."

"Our anniversary weekend, we decided to go to Wilmington for an overnight stay. I found and booked the Hive. I'm so glad we came across the Hive. It's the perfect location to everything - within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and bars, but it's tucked away enough not to be a part of the traffic and noise. The inside has the feel of Wilmington - partially bricked rooms, art deco. The rooms were all tastefully decorated and comfortable and clean. They have thought of every touch - everything you could possibly need - a lot of extra touches. When we entered the room, we had a "happy anniversary" marquee sign on the counter. We were met at the location by Melissa, who helped us with the door codes and showed us the best way to our room. Check in and check out are no hassle. Melissa was fantastic to work with and went above and beyond our requests. This will definitely be at the top of our stay list in Wilmington in the future and I highly recommend!"

"Stayed at this beautiful and unique hotel as part of my long birthday weekend in Wilmington. Our room was beyond anything I could imagine, with eclectic decor that looked like it belonged in an interior designer’s loft. Everything is so unique and elegant. The amenities were so thoughtful as well. There isn’t a thing the owners haven’t thought of. Will be sure to come back again, and thank you to the staff for helping get everything perfect via phone calls. PS: Loved “The Gnome”"
