Comfort Suites

"Now I normally like to spend extra money on hotel to not deal with any issues and of course breakfast they offer. I stayed for 4 night at this hotel because of this program I was taking at UNCP. After the first night staying here, I contracted bed bugs bites all over my arms and legs. I confirmed my theory by going to the doctors and being prescribed steroids pills since I was showing flares up all over my body. I realize the beds didn’t have mattresses protection on it and i ended up seeing a very small orange bug crawling on the white comforter. I was offered another room by the staff on duty and he was nice fellow. But I felt very uneasy for the rest of my stay as the other room didn’t have a mattress protector either. I never heard from the manager via phone nor email. I am very disappointed and will not be staying here again."

"The best thing about this motel is the location. It's right off I-95 and an Outback Steakhouse is withing walking distance of the pool. What was upsetting was the breakfast personnel. Breakfast is from 6-9 AM. At 8:40 my wife went to get a piece of fruit but the bowl was empty. She went to the breakfast attendant and asked if she could have a banana. She was told the fruit had been put away. Not a friendly or responsible answer. That was the end of it. No banana. Yet, we encountered the same attitude the last time we stayed here, from the same person. So, even though it's a good location, we won't be staying here again. It's not a welcoming place. Such a difference from the Comfort Suites in Kingsland, GA."

"Do not come here.Found 3 dead cockroaches near bed, and the curtains were stained. There are also rocks in the drawers below the TV. The receptionist wasn't here at the front desk.TV is hard to turn on with remote,drove 9 HOURS to get here on my way to Florida. The fridge in this hotel room actually makes sound at night, couldn't sleep until 11pm. Neighbors were literally doing construction work on top of me. Breakfast food also tastes bad. How are the average reviews 4.1 stars.NOT COMING BACK"

"We've stayed here twice to break up our drive down south so it's only been for a single night. Rooms are worn and could use some updating but other than that we haven't had any issues. Our rooms have been clean and the bed comfortable."

"I was assigned a beautiful room. I woke up in the middle of the night and encountered several bugs of various sizes. Needless to say, sleep was not an option. I was moved to another room that wasn't as nice and located away from my friends. The room needed more cleaning (both headboards had mysterious stuff on them and fingerprints). The walls needed attention as well. After me cleaning, I was tired and needed another break. The staff was extremely nice through it all."
