"The lady at the desk was very nice, and had a beautiful black and white dog I thought was a Siberia husky. She gave me a good rate and i knew it was a bit rough and tumble. I gotta my room and I was not surprised to find it had barely made it past inspection. I was tired, laid on the bed and was just wanting to lay there thinking I was gonna watch TV. So, I grabbed the kielbasa they had left in the fridge for me...they even thought to have a taster take a bit to be sure it wasn't poisoned! How thoughtdul! I lay back with the pillows propping me up hoping to find an episode of "FaultyTowers" Not tonight! I hit rhe button and nothing happened. I tried again, nothing . So, I got up to look at it. Well, who's ide was this? They had one job! The TV was mounted right the wall, and very securely. They didn't want it stolen I guess. The power cord was hanging from the back, down to the floor. Unplugged. And the cord and plug were not long enough to reach the socket 3 feet away. I just let out a sad sigh as I wondered how long it had been since it was watched. So, I pulled out my cell phone and Google the phone number to the feint desk, hoping it wouldn't go to an b offshore call center. There was no phone in the room, and there wasn't any kind of hotel stock with rhe name on it. Well, I asked for an extension cord, assuming all hotels had one. Hell, I had one burrowed deep in the trunk of my car, and id have had to unload everything. But, point is I had one.. The hotel didn't. I asked her to move me, please. She happily and apologetically obliged. On the way down to the office I passed a couple of sketchy looking dudes doing fos knows what by the soda Mac h ine in the breezeway (not what you might be thinking, but I didn't hang about ro find out eithee). I got the new key, move to the other room, but, before I moved I stopped by the new one and saw there was no remote. So I brought rhe remote from the room where rhe TV was too far ri be plugged in. Why was it in there, anyway? Just think about that for a moment. So, I get to the "NEW" room with my kielbasa and my remote, and kick back on the bed. Guess what happened? The little LG logo slowly pops up on the screen..it gently struggled to get brighter, but rhe TV wasn't having any of that business. And it went black. I tried 2 or 3 times more. It said "No, tou will not watch TV nor will you rest tonight!" I called the desk on my cell phone. I didn't have to look it up this time. It was the last number dialed. I asked politely asked for a refund and she kindly obliged. She was nice, and I don't think she cleaned the rooms. Well, let's just say that was about 6:30pm. It was getting dark and I wanted a cheap motel with a working TV at the least. About 2 hours later, and stopping at about 6 other places asking $80 for rooms in the same condition, I prepaid fir another Travelodge online, and was gonna take what I got. That I'd in another review of a Travelodge about 16 miles down the road."
"I found this place to stay while on an extended business trip. While not fancy, I’d much rather have basic, clean and comfortable and this place is that. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well as accommodating. The rates are great, the location is good, easy to access and close to work and all the stores and restaurants I could need. I’m happy to have found this place for the duration of this job."
"Possibly the worst motel I've ever seen firsthand. Ill do a compliment sandwich though: +front desk lady was very nice and helpful -hotel was disgusting, hallways with big gulp cups being used for toilets by the squatters -key didn't open the door after being programmed twice, but that was a blessing +husky dog behind the desk was friendly and made us feel a little safer as we asked for a refund"
