"That place is one of the top locations in Rochester. With a gorgeous overlook on the High Falls of the Genesee River it's a perfect Spot to enjoy a pint a get a bite. The beer price is a dream! $4 per pint rocks. Also food is pretty reasonable priced and very delicious. Also Vegetarians / Pescetarians find decent options. Not every brew-pub caters meatless!!"
"1 February 2024 We always have a good time coming here, although this time I wasn't pleased with some of the food. The salad I got was slimy, the lettuce was so bad. What happened to offering another side to replace my salad or don't they do that anymore. The burgers were good, but I was missing a third of my bottom bun. So I was holding the burger meat with my hands. It was awfully messy. The good part was that atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Genesee River and the Upper Falls. It's absolutely amazing. I'll be back, but I definitely won't order salad again."
"We've been coming here sporadically for seven years and it's been consistently tasty and friendly. The beer is great: Cream Ale is a classic, but the rotating options are also worth a try. My only complaint is that they need to bring back the Salted Caramel Chocolate Porter. This time I had the elk burger and it was good, not a wow. Also stole a bite of the chicken pesto naan and that was delicious. The building is very cool, love the outdoor patio and the keg Christmas tree."
"The place is nice with beautiful views in the rooftop. I asked for the cheeseburger plate and was soooo good! It was enough partion for my husband and I. I really liked it! The beer is good too and the service kind."
"I have yet to find a Genesee brew that I like, but it was worth the price of admission to go up on the rooftop deck to see the sun set. Thanks to the mess of (yet another) half-done construction project in Rochester, this is probably the only way you can see the falls now! The pub itself is in a really cool historic building and has lots of history and displays. Huge souvenir shop. Friendly staff."
