"This fall is amazing. Right off the highway 64. Little space to park so turn your GPS on and when it close to the fall slow down not to miss it."
"Simply amazing, magical, beautiful, etc..."
"One of the most fun adventurous hikes in my area. The rock jumping was a blast. The slide into bridal veil was amazing. Sliding rock was rough as always but taking it into the gorge wasn't bad. Maybe next time I'll rock hop in and out since it's so fun. Yall be safe and enjoy!"
"Beautiful but strenuous hike to get here. Permit required from the state park and only 100 issued per day. Be prepared with lots of water and good shoes and clothes that can get wet since this hike requires crossing the River and hiking down the banks of the River with large slippery boulders. The hike is well worth it once you get to siding rock where you can swim. You can go black the way you came or adventure back across the River and up the side of the gorge about 1/4 mile with an 800 foot vertical rise. Going this way takes you through property owned by Wallenda LLC that was used when Paul Wallenda crossed the gorge on a high wire. You can still see the suspension anchor when you reach the top."
"These are the only falls in NC where you can drive right up, get out of the car and walk over to see the falls. The falls are 60 ft tall and they don’t have a ton of water but they are a must see and worth the stop. The Dry Falls are just a couple minute drive down the road and those are spectacular. If you look along the roadside where the water flows through it looks like fools gold in the soil."
