"Small spot with two tables of 4. The food was pretty good. We got a bunch of orders of the oxtails to-go, and they all came out piping hot. We all enjoyed the side of cabbage (9/10). The oxtails were pretty good (6.8/10). Nice and tender. Could have slightly more flavor, but was pretty good. Rice was also good. The Mac and cheese was alright (5/10)."

"I’ve been eating authentic Jamaican food since a young kid, this food never has flavor, tried them a few yrs ago & wasn’t pleased, gave them another try & still not it. Cabbage was bland & tasted like nothing, no veggies added to it either, brown stew chicken had no spices Nor could u c any spices, or flavor. Not sure if they even taste their food before they give it out, honestly u would think this food was made from an American. I’m not trying to bash this business, but the quality food isn’t good & I work hard for my money to go to waste. Hopefully they get a better cook one day"

"The clientele is rude and repeatedly asked for discounts when the food was reasonably priced. I hope they renovate the establishment because it does need an update (only reason for the one star off), but the food is always wonderful and well made. It shows that it took time to prepare. The cakes and patties look homemade, and very well made. Staff are friendly and let you know right away if something isn't available."

"I went for the first time today and let me tell you! The oxtails were delicious! The rice and beans, the Mac and cheese. The absolute best in Buffalo hands downs. I will definitely be a returning customer."

"I ordered the large Curry Chicken dinner ($12.00) and it did not disappoint. Came with cabbage and Mac n cheese as sides. The chicken pieces were big and tinder and came on a bed of rice (though it was mostly chicken and yummy curry vs rice filler). The Mac n cheese was baked which is how I like it and the cabbage was well-seasoned and steamed just right! I ordered red velvet cake for dessert, which was homemade and practically dissolved in my mouth with each bite. There is a small dining room with a single four top as this place is primarily a takeout spot. I ordered through grubhub (so menu price is likely higher) for pickup and though I didn't get a pickup when I first called over to the restaurant, my order was ready when I arrived about 20 minutes later. Overall, great food and good service."
