"The taste of the food not good. No salt,no spices. Egg parota doesn’t taste like parotta, tasted like bland fried rice with only cabbage. Egg curry had no salt. Sambar for dosa was really bad. Dosa and plain parotta was good. Quantity was good but disappointed with the taste. Not worth the money."
"I ordered the chicken tikka, paratha bread, and chicken rolls appetizer. The chicken tikka had a good flavor and big chunks of white meat chicken, lots of them. The bread was cooked perfectly and had a great texture. The chicken roll appetizer was also flavorful. The rice was cooked perfectly as well. All of the food was good, although I do prefer the tikka from the banana leaf restaurant."
"Phenomenal food. We ordered the chicken kothu roti. It tastes just like I’d order one in Colombo. The gravy to roti ratio was perfect. Not too wet or dry. The addition of fried chicken pieces mixed in gave it its authenticity for a Colombo version. Well plated with thin crispy carrots made for a good touch. Even with the shear volume of kothu stores across the border, this is great!"
"We tried dolphin kottu and chicken fried rice. Both of them were really good and flavourful. They made it to match Sri Lankan recipes. Kottu wasn’t dry and came with gravy on the side. Even the fried rice was on point with lot of flavor. The food was made on the spot since we could hear the “kottu” sounds. We went on Sunday so lot of deserts and rolls were sold out, but go on another day. And portions were pretty affordable around $12-$15 each!!"
"We had a good first experience with this place. After looking at the menu, we decided to order the dolphin kottu and vada. After placing the order, it took a little over half an hour to receive our food but they did warn us ahead of time. While driving home to eat the food, the food smelled amazing. The food tasted as great as it smelled. Although the chicken was noticeably overcooked, it was still a good meal. The hot spicy level was very strong. Any spice lover will enjoy. This will be a place I will consider returning to when I am craving more spicy food."
