"Beautiful Falls, very clear water. Prettiest clear water I have seen hiking in the NC mountains. Icy falls are gorgeous and so worth freezing to see."
"This is a beautiful and impressive waterfall formation. The "hike" in isn't really much so its a wonderful reward for almost no work. It's easy to get to and achievable for most ages yet not quite handicap accessible. Make sure to park down the road from living waters as they are not always okay with visitor parking when they have activities going on. Definitely worth a stop from the brp or if you are just in the area."
"Beautiful spot right off the beaten path! Several nice waterfalls located within a small area with a nice path to locate them all. Beware of the low branches/tree limbs along the path, they may have contributed to some CTE for me! Still worth it though!"
"My first time to the Balsam Grove area, in Pisgah National Forest. I stopped at Living Waters to hike around and see French Broad Falls and Mill Shoals Falls. They are right beside each other. Shoals Creek dumps right into North Fork French Broad River. The sound is magnificent. It is a vast roar. The walk down to the falls only takes a couple of minutes from the road. And there is a trail that leads down to Cathedral Falls or Bird Rock Falls about a quarter mile below. On the way you will pass two more smaller waterfalls that do not have names but still beautiful in their own right. An amazing little hike with so much beauty even in the middle of January.. Check out my photos I hope you enjoy."
"Absolutely a must see! It truly was breath taking and make sure you go all the way to the end it’s worth it. Trail was good not difficult at all, there are roots throughout the trail so just be cautious if your steps. Plenty of areas that are visible to walk down to the water off of the trail. One of my favorites yet. And the drive there is beautiful"
