Jamaican Paradise

"While in Long Island, my husband wanted Jamaican food, so we stopped here. The restaurant was small and there weren't any places to eat inside. However, the food was delicious. My husband ordered the curry chicken, some steak w/vegetables, cabbage, and rice and beans. I ordered jerk chicken and ribs. Oh my, those ribs were some of the best tasting ribs I have ever tasted at a restaurant; they were juicy, well seasoned, and they had a lot of meat. The food was reasonably priced, and the customer service was excellent. Some Jamaican restaurants have this hot pickled pepper hotsauce that they sale, it is super hot (do not recommend for those who are faint at heart when it comes to heat) it is deliciously flavored and compliments the food. I didn't see it, so I asked if they had it they did, and we were able to get some in a to go container. We recommend this place. When we take another trip to Long Island, we will definitely go back again. We gave it an overall 5. Our only suggestion would be to have more ox tails (my husband wanted some, yet they were sold out because they are a popular item). In addition, just a heads up, they are located in an area where there are many shops, yet the parking is very limited. Fyi, they did give me more chicken/ribs; I was eating them before I took the picture (so good)."

"As a delivery courier I went to this place to pick up an order. They gave me the order and micro managed me. Asked me multiple times to confirm the order. As I walked out the store they were still yelling at me to confirm the order. I showed you my phone with the customers name and details , that’s confirmation. I’m not your employee, u will not micro manage me. Stope with the accusatory treatment of delivery drivers who support your Business!"

"Their okra and saltfish was excellent. The okra tasted fresh, and it had some crunch. The fish was perfectly seasoned and had the right amount of salt. The only negative is that they do not sell any Black Cake slices, only the whole cake."

"I was on my way to the airport to go to work and I decided to make a stop .I came into this establishment with no expectations but I was convinced to try some of their homemade porridge corn meal. Carol the cook. Told me I will not be disappointed and I will not have to add any other flavors to it. But after having a conversation with her which was very pleasant I tasted it I could not believe it it was unbelievable the flavors were Blended just perfect. When I say this porridge was flawless. I am not exaggerating. Since I'm in the airline industry I've been blessed to being exposed to different cultures I have the ability to taste a lot of food and a lot of different countries this was the best I've ever had. What made this visit very pleasant is that the customer service I experience as soon as I walked in. Compared to the other Jamaican restaurant on 110 where they treat you Unpleasant. God truly Has His blessings in this business continue doing what you doing Carol. Now I ask for all of my followers and had all those bad experiences at the other Jamaican restaurant on 110 to give this business a try and you will not be disappointed"
